Is there any point in developers creating platform and puzzle games anymore?

This thing really is looking more and more like a tectonic shift in how a whole range of games will be developed in the future. And it won't be via professional software developers.

Wonder if Nintendo and MS have lots of platform/puzzle games in the queue .. can't imagine Sony has as many given the capabilities this has now and the possibilities in the future for 2.0.

It's awesome btw.

Some stuff is weird and my PS3 has frozen once, but other than that it is a blast. Best game on the PS3 bar none.

This is GOTY, sorry MGS4 you should have been released last year.

I also got a chance to play R2 campaign mode. It's pretty good, I'm not that into shooters though. The only one I am looking forward to is Killzone 2, but I'll save that for a different thread...

i'm glad to hear such a good review max, especially considering the beta is an older build. can't wait to get hold of the full game. but man it'd be nice to get into the beta

Hey guys, my wife and I are both trying to get the LBP keys (since we actually have free time now) during the Gamespot competition. If I get and extra one I'll give it out on these boards.

Hopefully I get at least 1
