I've been most places. I visit other bases in other states for various reasons.

I've at least stepped in most European countries and been to/stayed in most Middle Eastern countries.

There isn't enough time! I got 20 minutes to work on my level last night and got almost nowhere. Re-did one portion 3 times and still not sure if I'm happy with it.

So busy these days - just not sure if I'll be able to finish my latest/last LBP 1 level before moving.

I won't even try to build unless I have nothing planned for the day. Time go's by so quick building. I started building once at 11am, and before I knew it. It was 3am the following morning.

Yeah, it's amazing how 3 hours is barely enough time to get anything done.

Also, I have a wife and kids and the move coming up and other stuff going on - so, it's not like I can simply take the weekend and put 8 hours into it. (I wish!) Basically, after the kid goes to bed, I have whatever time my wife gives me before she wants to watch a show or something - then, it's off to bed. So, I get 30 minutes to an hour - which is barely enough time to try anything new out. Usually, after a half hour - I'm just starting to get warmed up.

Seriously, one of the most time consuming processes around.

I should probably sketch things out first - but I rarely find that works. I have to tinker as I go and try different lighting, materials and sounds - and even after hours of tinkerings I might completely scrap an idea.

When I create - I have a vague image or idea I want to recreate - and then I just create until all of a sudden I recognize that that was what I was after.

Of course, most of my ideas (gameplay/visuals) are abstract - so it's almost impossible to draw out. Just keep creating until something materializes.

Probably not the most effecient way to create - but I guess that's the way my mind works.

Well, I got a solid hour and a half in last night - and came up with a solid version of a small Quantum Accelerator.

But that's all I got accomplished.

I probably just need to come to terms with the fact that I will never be able to finish this in 2 weeks with my current schedule. I'm so close to the end, but so much remains in that small section.

But that's my fault, I can never just "keep it simple".

But yeah, I think finishing The Dream Catcher II in two weeks, is probably just a dream. . .

(Oh come on! That was clever! )

Thanks buddy, look forward to hearing what you think of it once it's released.

It won't be the best level ever, not even close - but I do hope at least that it makes people sit up and say, "Cool", once in a while.

I have to admit, the Shadow Realm (the actual area where the Shadow Realm exists) is going to be hard on the eyes. Lights blend together at times making it difficult to make things out (but that's the intent) and some of the shadows cast are very unique. I think it will take people a long time to figure out how it was done.

I wonder how all your work will end up in lbp2 since its a based on glitches?

I'm not really concerned about it.

I'm making this for LBP1. If it ruins my level - it will ruin thousands of levels.

And, so far, they keep going back and forth on how much effect the upgrade will have on current level with glitches. The way I'm reading it is that certain glitches - like shrinking dark matter until it's invisible - will now "show up".

That will mess up a lot of levels visually, but, if LBP2 has something that can serve this purpose (hopefully) - then, it will be a matter of replacing it.

I really don't think it will have an affect on the look of the 3D items, etc. Of course, I'm sure those glitches will no longer be available use - but LBP2 will have it's own glitches.

They have only patched a few glitches - to me, unless it messes up the game - they should leave it. Most of these glitches helped creators and inspired them to create levels that never could have been made otherwise.

I use 3 glitches in this new level. 3D (I've placed objects in the background and the foreground) and one material glitch. And, of course, the invisible dark matter.

But either way - I'll be proud of my LBP1 creation and move on. If LBP2 messes them up completely - I'm sure I'll be in good company with all the other creators.

Worst case scenario - I have a speech bubble that explains this level should be played in LBP1 (expect to see a lot of those if LBP2 seriously messes things up).

Or, I redo the level with LBP2 tools.

It's all good.

(Oh, and only my last 3 levels - Great Race 3D, Dream Catcher and Dream Catcher II, use any glitches - all my previous ones were made pre-glitches).

Ok - I'm doing it - hope it helps reduce some create time - I'm making a sketch!

Right now, it looks like a really badly planned football play - with really bad hand writing. . . hope it turns out better in the game.
