Well, a bit of a set back this weekend - kid got sick - so haven't have much time to create.

I have two days here - then I'm away for a few days - then, all I have is the weekend until my set publish date. Just not sure. A LOT of things are going to have to come together real soon.

Take your time and do what it has to be done to make your level the grande finale for LBP1.

If everything workouts - I believe this will be my personal best for a level, or at least, the closest to a level turning out the way I envisioned it.

Uhg! One step forward, two steps back. I thought I was making some progress (I did), but found out a piece of my level came apart - so, now, I have to spend time trying to get that back together.

Just don't know about my self imposed deadline. I leave for a few days tomorrow. Just don't think there will be enough time when I return.

don't suppose anyone has an extra copy of the GOTY edition do they? Wanting to get that and have little to no (emphasis on no) money so trying to work a trade....everyone let me knoooooooooow!

BTW: I tried to set up a level but could never get the parts to hover in the sky and get the electrical stuff to work. Of course I'm the anti-mcguyver. lol

How exactly do you want it to hover? Have you tried gluing a thin layer of dark matter behind it? If you want it to kinda bob up and down, you could hide a piston or a winch back there too. I'm not really sure what effect you're trying to achieve. How 'bout drawing us a picture?

There are a myriad of ways to accomplish this - many quite easy.

I'm thinking someone skipped the tutorials.

However, if/when you get the game - let me know and I'll come in and help get it set up real quick.

(Or, Stephie can too.)

Well I saw the tutorials when I FIRST started up the game months and months ago. However I wanted to go back to them and I couldn't find them. And when I asked someone on here they were like "yeah they're in your menu" but they're not!

I go to the create world thing but the tutorial thing is not there. :-(

(typing from phone) i think u choose the object u want 2 use - and there is an option to put it in your hearted items -for quick access- and to review the tutorial - hope that helps

Hmmmm, what to do?

I may be able to finish my level by Monday/Tuesday - and publish.

However, anybody who is actually an active player will probably get the LBP2 beta and "won't" be playing LBP1.

So, is it worth publishing?

Well, seems like everyone left this thread -

Anyway, I'll be publishing my new level Tuesday evening (14 Seo) - sure hope it works!!!

A touch up here or there and it should be done to publish a bit after I get home - so, hopefully, 6pm EST, Tuesday.

Hope a few of you check it out. It's been a crazy level to make - it's funny, cause what took hours and days - lasts mere minutes in some parts of the level. Just crazy.

I really am a bit exhausted by this level, so, that's probably it for me until LBP2. Besides, I have to move soon.

If you get a chance to play, let me know what you thought - the good, bad and the ugly.

Actually, I do have a few buddies on PSN that are eager to see the final version. I'm excited for people to see it, but also, I can't wait to be done! Haha.

I'm still here. I've being playing a lot of Uncharted 2 multiplayer lately..I've been wanting to pop LBP back in a start making a Halloween level. I've been anxious to play your new level. From just the little testing I did. It looks amazing.

Thanks Chris. Yeah, I've always wanted to make a seasonal level - a spooky halloween level would be great fun to make.

Do you have the Monster Kit? That little level is well done (nothing but mainly walking through it) - but, it looks great and the decorations are great for making monsters, etc.

I do have the monster kit. I have all the kits. You need them if your going to create...

Since this will be your last level for LBP1, why not play a few levels after you move until LBP2 comes out?

There are some great level designs out there....
