I do play - just not that often. Creating takes so much time and I try to squeeze every last minute into it. If I'm playing a level, I am thinking the whole time, "I am missing out on create time!".

I have seen some incredible levels out there. Truly remarkable talent and craftsmanship.

Well, bad news for me - my level glitched. I was doing a playthough and noticed something strange - one of my obstacles was missing. A swirling sphere that you swing on. We still made it across, but then, below - the sphere was there. Strange.

Ok, no big deal, I can fix that. I go to fix it in Create Mode and the "elastic" band is totally stiff - won't move. Now, 3 or 4 of them are like that. So, I delete them all and redo it. Go back into play mode and now all 4 of them are broken.

So, it appears that my level has glitched.

I guess now, I'll be publishing closer to Friday - assuming I can unglitch the level. Really suck - it was done - now, it's going to take a few nights to fix cause each time a change is made - the level has to be replayed to ensure it works right - which means a good 15 minutes. If anything is wrong, I have to fix it again and replay (another 15 minutes). As you can see - beta testing can take hours.

Sometimes, LBP give me such a headache with all the crazy glitches. I'd like to take it by the neck and. . .

Hope it can be fixed. . .

It knew you intended this to be your last LBP1 level and couldn't stand it, so it sabotaged itself to keep you around for a little longer!

Your patience amaze me! I would have drop creating way before you (wait... I've drop creating...) I'm really looking foward to try your level !

Well, at this point, I just can't stand to scrap it. I've been working off an on to complete this thing for 5 months - I'd be very upset if it couldn't get published.

Right now - shooting for Friday. That should give me enough time to find an MM employee and hold him for ransom until they unglitch my level.

ATTENTION LITTLE BIG PLANETEERS!

I have two levels published. One is a completely simplistic one where you walk out the door and walk over to the finish line.

The other one is one I actually did months ago but never published it. There's a few things I can't figure out at this point (mainly getting things to position in the sky or whatever) but it's about 90% done. I went ahead and published it.

If anyone would like to help me out by playing and hearting my levels, I would be appreciative! I am in the process of going through and playing people on my friends lists levels. Already played Stephies, and allow me to curse you out for your damn Kanye West Glow in the Dark damn level! I don't have a glow in the dark outfit!!!! I damn near didn't make it out alive!!!! lol.

EDIT: okay a couple things.

I have the GOTY edition, so I have all the MGS stuff. However I can't find the Paintinator to add to a level I'm doing.

Also I can't find water to put on the level either. ARGHHHH!

Going to bed, but thank you to any of you who hearted my level(s). I got the Celebrity trophy when I loaded up the game a bit ago.

I believe there is a separate tutorial level in the MGS pack that you have to play (it's a real quick tutorial).

Water, you have to buy the Pirates pack to get that - again, there is a small tutorial level you play to get it.

Also, look in your personal content area in LBP - there are some FREE levels in there. Play each tutorial level to get the item (global lighting, wireless jetpack, etc.)

Well, after falling victim to LBP glitches - I believe I finally have a working version.

So, tonight, around 6pm Central time, I'll be releasing "The Dream Catcher II - Shadow Realm".

It took about 5 months to make due to the long time frames of testing out some fun special effects; many of which I haven't seen anywhere else in LBP. Unfortunately, many of the special effects do not show up in pictures, so sadly I can not post any.

It's not going to be the best LBP level you've ever played, but it will be original and unique.

So, if you have time this evening, please check it out. And feel free to post back here with what you thought.

Yes, it's titled, "Dream Catcher II Shadow Realm (1Player!)".

And, of course, there is my other quick race level - "Rapid Rocket Race".

I haven't been on this morning, but it should be there. Had about 25 plays last night - and keeps going back and forth between 4 and 5 stars.

Won't be able to get on for a bit, but I'll take a look when I can - can't imagine why it wouldn't be there.

Actually, Rapid Rocket Race is on page 3 of the Cool Pages, and has a direct link to DC II via the key. So, that should help to find it also if for some reason you're only seeing a few of my levels displayed (although I can't imagine why).

The level seems to glitchy. It seems that when I fix one glitch, another pops up. Very random.

I also listed it as "Expert". The level is MASSIVE and takes a while to trek across with some difficult gameplay.

Last night, it had 18 plays and only 1 person completed it. But, even though only 1 person completed it, it still was listed as 5 stars. So, it seems that even though people are giving up, they still appreciate what they saw in the level.

hmmm, I did see your "Rapid Rocket Race" but not your new Dream Catcher 2.

I am currently having PSN connection issues. Apparently parts of Canada are having the same problems so I cant re-verify for you if I still see your new level or not

Thank you very much for trying it out - and, for actually beating it!

Seriously, I had to republish a new, easier version - cause people just weren't finishing it.

It had over 300 plays, now - I republished - unfortunately, it doesn't have the weekend rush, so only 59 plays - but only about 4 have finished it!!!

Also, no one seems to comment on levels anymore. I had over 300 plays and about 4 comments.

Since the republish, I have only a few comments - 2 from friends - and then one guy who posted several long comments where he went on and on about how awesome the level was, and how this was the best thing on LBP, and how his jaw dropped at certain parts - made me feel good. Definitely nice when someone appreciates the time and effort put in. I PM'd him on PSN and thanked him for his comments.

Anyway, I don't think this level is going to get many plays, but we'll see. The work week is so very slow for plays. Hope it can move up the Cool Pages, or get some good word of mouth from those who liked it.

I've also completed your level last night! The visuals are incredible and its quite fun to play! I've only had trouble at then end...

Dream Catcher II - Shadow Realm



Hello all, updated with some pics.

Well, this level has been 5 months in the making and features some effects that I haven't seen anywhere else.

It was published last night. I hope you all get a chance to check this out - the comments that I have receieved on the level have been quite nice.

If you played and liked The Dream Catcher - than you're sure to like the Dream Catcher II - which is bigger and better.

Yeah well maybe its just me who is slow... I was stick with the fact that there was a blue light and a red one on the wheel, so I was looking to do something with the blue one after I've use the red lazer...
