Yeah, it probably is. I guess it all comes down to who is judging the entries, and what they deem as worthy enough of a code.

If "I'd make a Mario board" passes, then it's certainly too late.

It's reasonable to assume the bar isn't set very high, because I doubt anyone over at IGN wants to read through thousands of emails on a Friday night, so they'll likely give them away very easily, despite how bad/unoriginal/unreadable some ideas are.

I know it is, but they made it sound as if you don't get a code just for emailing them. They have to decide whether they liked your idea, before giving you a code.

So, for example, the first 2,000 they like will get codes (assuming they have 2,000 codes), but there's no knowing if they'll have to go through 2,000 or 10,000 emails, to get to that.

If anyone ends up with an extra code, I'd be grateful to be added to the list. Looks like I missed the boat of submissions due to a hectic week at work and school.

Are you sure? I thought some people received codes with the free membership, as long as you tick the box to receive a newsletter.

Or are those two different giveaways?

How's the download coming?

Will this be a random choosing or like the Eurogamer thing, who gets first?

And about the Gamespot codes, I was up until 3 in the morning just to wait for it. I'm not gonna be up for this.

Update:
Unfortunately I can't give you an ETA on the beta codes. I can say that we are working to verify entries, and that upon verification winners will receive a confirmation email and a follow-up email with their beta key.

I posted here earlier that you would be receiving them "shortly," but that was based on an earlier conversation I had and was perhaps a poor choice of words. As someone not directly involved in this task, I cannot really comment on it much further, but it is most likely unrealistic to expect to see confirmation emails until Monday. Please rest assured that we are working this out as fast as possible.

I apologize for any undue stress caused by not being able to play it over the weekend.

UK gamers, here's your Kratos:

(LittleBigPlanet gets a 10/10 by the way)

Quote:
'In a league of its own' quotes Official Playstation Magazine UK as the first review comes in for whats arguably one of the most creative, dynamic and systematic games of this generation.

The review continues...

"The limitless creative potential contained within LittleBigPlanet means you'll be scribbling level designs on the back of your hand so you don't forget them. Or breaking off, mid-conversation, to stare blankly into space as the penny drops on how to make a rampaging robot. A big one.

"Materials have physical properties and react believably to gravity and other objects. Felt is soft, polystyrene is light, rubber grips (making it great for wheels) and glass is slippery."

"The golden moment is when you realise how you can link these simple parts together to create something amazing. It's as if a mist clears to reveal infinite possibility."

Along with the final judgement on the massive freeform gameplay that makes up most of the game, OPMUK also clears up another critical development issue "The story mode alone is reason enough to buy LBP ... The quality is flawless. The beautiful levels mix action, challenge and wonder in a way that makes plenty of 'real' cough nervously and look sheepishly at their feet."

The game was awarded a 10/10 by the reviewer, and praised for its absolute, positive and undiluted love with the gamer and its pleasures at bringing you top quality level designs.

The review can be read in full in the latest edition of OPMUK, hitting the shelves on Wednesday 1st October.

This game is FUN! That is all i can say, besides my g/f does not think Sackboy is cute, but scary, because the stiches look like staples.. i know.. no need to yell at me..

One thing they can fix, is being able to kick other people out of the room, if they dont cooperate, or are just sitting there...

It is a very very old build, but I love it, I could not stop playing...

I had to though I had 20 recruits wanting me to destory KU in NCAA 09, so KSU did just that winning 45-13, now hopefully they all sign, and I can enjoy some more LBP.
