after all the talk about monday being the day to grab a code, i'm pretty disappointed to find out most of these giveaways won't happen for a few days

gamespot is apparently wed now. i'll never use their site again, seriously, no reason for that.

it looks like i'll be getting one from the official site, i got in before the 1k posts. still a maybe on 1up

i read over the rules, it didn't say anything about double posts disqualifying, just not to do it because it doesn't help your chances

There is nothing to enter - no "image" to match the text to. I've looked everywhere on the page. Tried many, many times to register.

I just looked at the number of total comments by the time mine was posted, and then counted backward until I got to mine. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered counting that high.

Not to make any assumptions, but if galperi indeed has a code for me, I'm still in the running for 4-5 codes, and can hand those out if I end up winning any. The LBP newsite one should be guaranteed, and I'm optimistic about IGN...not so much about Gamepro.

apparently gaf is getting their 1up codes as we speak.

edit: still nothing. gamespot is full of it, those codes are never happening, and i was way too late for ign. mm is doing a very good job of turning people away from the game.

i think a true open beta next week could sooth a lot of the anger that is boiling in the people who camped out today and missed it all. besides, they are giving out tens of thousands of beta keys, i was under the impression that only a very very select few got a key in a true beta. it seems to me this is more of an exclusive demo than a true beta.

max already said they're gonna open it up the week before the game releases to everyone. its all a hype builder, and its nothing more than a demo. annoying tho
