You can take me off the list, I got one in my message box from the gametrailers.com entry. Funny thing is it didn't show I had a message, but I go to check anyway and sure enough I had one message.

This game is such a time killer. I decided to take a break from some work, and go play a few levels. Next thing I know, nearly an hour has gone by.

There's some fun about seeing what other people make, even if its garbage. Maybe it will wear off over time, but I hope not. Plus with more features in the full game, and DLC surely coming later, there will be plenty of other things to keep it fresh.

I think the search feature needs a bit of work, because it seems like if you use the text box to type in some words, the results have nothing to do with what you typed.

What good would this list be without you?

Thanks for catching my mistakes.

P.S. Is there a particular platinum trophy you are bragging about?

Ask and you shall receive. There should be a flood of codes from the LBP newsite coming over the weekend, so you still have a decent chance, I think.

In case you don't get a code, do not hesitate to go buy the game. This might be the last game I need to buy for a while, because it has the potential to use up all of my free time for a long time to come. Perhaps the most bang-for-buck game of recent memory...sorry Wipeout HD.

Up to #3 in the queue. Can't wait. Props to everyone sharing their extra codes. It's a lifesaver for those of us that are unlucky, although I did manage to break even at the horse track today, which hopefully is a good omen.

I got question, does anybody know if it's possible to throw picture/jpeg files onto your level? Just in the form of a sticker where you can adjust the size on the go and stamp it anywhere on walls, etc.

Is this possible in the real-game if not this beta? Or it's simply not possible at all?

I won a superfecta once, and thought I was going to end up winning at least $1k, but probably at least a few thousand, based on the recent superfecta payouts listed in the program.

Unfortunately, a couple of the horses with bad odds that ended up in the top 4, were bet on so heavily toward the end, that their odds went up, and I ended up with $85.

I was never so sad to win something in my life.

I'm not sure if there is any concrete official news, but I think it's strongly leaning toward not being able to import stuff off the hard drive.

It's kind of a shame, but at the same time I can see why they might be doing it.

For one, they'd have to deal with a lot of copyright issues, if people can upload decent-res logos and stuff. At least by limiting it to the PS Eye, they are limiting how great the picture will actually turn out.

Also, it seems a bit weird to imagine a person spending time making pictures and stuff at their computer, to upload into LBP. I kind of like the idea that everything you have in a board is right there within the game, or something you can quickly plop down in front of the PS Eye. In a way it forces you to be a bit creative with the tools you have, rather than getting exactly what you want by making some images in PhotoShop, or something like that.

I was looking into this issue earlier today, because I thought of making a fake MiltonBradley logo in Photoshop, for my fake Connect Four level. The plan was to use MediaMolecule and the Mm abbreviation in place of MiltonBradley and the MB abbreviation.

I got to the end of the introduction part where you learn how to tilt, smile, frown, etc. but I can't do anything from there. The only thing I can think of is that there 2nd sackboy is because of my ps3 blu-ray remote. If I turn off that remote and get rid of the non-moving sackboy will the level end?

Love the game so far. Thanks for your help.
I had the exact same problem. Any kind of additional controller (SixAxis, BD remote, Guitar Hero guitar, etc) that is registered as a controller within the XMB will create an additional player. I sent a bug report on that... no clue if it will do anything, but you shouldn't have to force disconnect the BD remote in order to get through that first level.

And, yes, once that second character is gone, the level ends where you've gotten to and you can actually start playing the game.

Yeah, I can see why they would do that.

Guess I'm back to taking snap shots directly infront of the monitor if I want certain pics. lol

EDIT
Has anyone play this one level with the tank and helicopter yet? I think it's made by a Japanese person. It's pretty neat actually, the tank looks awesome, you can fire bombs forward, backward, you could also fire with the helicopter. Also when you crush and run over a bunch of crayons it leave marks on both the wheels and the ground. Then you have to fire your way through to bring down a tower wall to get to the other side.

It's short, but pretty interesting.

The wipeout LBP one is not too bad either.

Haha I hear ya. I hit a trifecta once and ended up only winning about $10-15 on it due to people driving the odds way down on it right at the end.

Finally got into the beta last night and messed around in it for about 3 hours. My first impression is that this is a very overwhelming game. I can't imagine casual gamers getting into this one. The editing tools are so freaking awesome. The sky really is the limit with your creativity. From the minute you boot it up you know you're getting into something that is completely unique. Overall I'm happy with what I've played.

Is it possible to play with other online players? I've seen gameplay videos with multiple players. So far I'm in level two in the beta.

Yes. When selecting a board, choose the Play Online button, instead of the Play On My Own button. It doesn't guarantee that anyone will actually show up, but generally they will.
