I took you to some of the best levels I've found... Don't worry, there are some disappointments too.

The game is amazing though. The whole creation thing just makes it endless.

Love the Venom sack up there.

I really hope all the lagginess is just part of the beta testing and everything is VERY smooth come release.

My Gamestop already has the game in the back. No point in getting it early though because they won't turn on the servers until release day.

Also, since it’s a beta, it’s already quite an old build. We have some cool new stuff that’s been in our private test for a few days, I won’t give it all away but there are things cooking such as 5-star ratings, (much) better performance and less lagginess, better online stability, better UI for publishing, faster downloads…. so in a way playing this version is simultaneously exciting and an odd throwback to a couple of weeks ago.

On a sidenote... Im playing some of these created levels and I feel like Im missing something. How are people creating things that dont exist? Is there a "draw" tool or something? All I have is things I have collected etc..... There are some awesome levels (toefer I played yours and thought it was pretty sweet).

And just to add, after playing the beta, looks like Platinum on this game wont take very long and shouldnt be much of a challenge. Then again, this game is WAY more then trophies. They are just a bonus.

Okay...

I had this very same question a few pages back as you recall... I have found answers!

It appears that different national versions of the beta had slightly different items and capabilities. i.e. the red candle and skull can be gotten as rewards from latin countries (look for those levels and play through getting all loot/rewards). Also, you can get some sweet sneakers and boots from latin countries as well... Apparently, the ability to use character creation items as rewards was left on in their version of the beta (I can't get it to do it in USA). If you want those shoes/boots fast, just do the 'Resident Evil' level.. it takes 5 seconds, literally.

A ton of the objects are simply made using the shape/crop/cut/paste/whatever tools in creation. You can pretty much make anything. People make them look more unique by using their PSEye to take pictures that become stickers to use as textures, etc., then crop around them, for example.

Once your head starts getting into this creative side of the game it's very massive. It takes a while to get your head around it and I actually doubt anyone could ever totally wrap around it since it's so multi-dimensional. Pretty insane for such a simple creative package and this is just the beta. I can't imagine how insane the retail creation will be with all the extra goodies/tools/etc.

I just hope all the laggyness goes away. They've done a lot of server resets too... my play/share/create numbers all go back to zero and I can't access saved levels or customes sometimes anymore.

A lot of us have been waiting, hence the queue line. If you're not on the list, you should probably mention that you wish to be put on it. I know I've been waiting for a while, and it's driving me nuts! haha

DLed it but nothing happens at the end of the Intro level (where the Introducing box is), I must be an ijit but I couldn't successfully find the answer to what I'm doing wrong.

Go past the "introducing box" (that's just a silly little box to show your sackboy off - that you've just dressed up, if you were following the tutorial).

Past that is the final part of the level - then the "game" actually starts. (And even that is a massive tutorial, although it's well done enough that it doesn't feel like it.)

These are a couple of my posts from before. I think I should be somewhere other than last in the list if that makes sense.

I forgot MarineMike probably stopped handling the list once he left work today. I'll whip it out again.

Due to somewhat overlooking his posts, and somewhat being unclear in their intent, I made the controversial decision on where to place Driver_King on the list. It'd be unfair to throw him at the bottom, but also unfair to put him straight on top, so I put him (or you, if you're reading this) just behind the guy on-deck. Hope that helps.

Next up: mcdaking84 <----let's win him a code

On-deck: aks745dell

In-the-hole: BluUrMyBoy!

The Official Queue.

0th: mcdaking84 <-----added back because the last code didn't work

Thanks, but it was my BD remote causing a second character to appear on-screen, and I couldn't get the game to proceed until I finally tried removing the batteries from the remote. Then the second character disappeared and the intro completed. Weird.

One person got a key, and one person whose post got overlooked was added, so the net result for most people was no change.
