Reason, when I watched his best settings video for C1 & PS5, I noticed he never once went into the PS5’s Video Output Settings, nor did he press the Freesync LG display bar to show you what the C1 is actually doing. He didn’t have any problems doing both of what I just described above in his CX & PS5 video. |

LG has stated they are trying to rollout a firmware regarding the HDCP issue November 17th. It has to pass QC first before they release the update. So the date given maybe delayed. |

An 83 in. G1 has me intrigued especially with the cooling plate if it were added. The Panasonic JZ-2000 is hitting 927 on average in a 10% window. The Sony A90J has an average nit output of 781 nits in D65 averaging results from flatpanelshd.com, hdtvtest.com, avforums.com, rtings.com and lesnumeriques.com. That is nothing short of pretty embarrassing considering it has a cooling plate. The G1 outperforms it from the same sources averaging 792 nits. The Panasonic being the 1500 or 2000 slaughter them both with 927 nits on average while still waiting on a review from flatpanelshd.com. An LG with a cooling plate be it the C1 or G1 should easily bring the set to the 900 plus nit range and 1000 nits would be perfect!

personally, I recommend the later and it’s mounted on a table top and tilted down with track wedges (https://americangrip.com/product/tra...ge-2-x-4-x-12/) underneath the legs lining up center of screen to viewers’ eyes. Additional accessory includes bias lighting from - https://www.biaslighting.com/ , as an aside, Jason Rosenfeld of said company provides 5-star customer support, won’t find anyone better. |
