I'd expect DeVante Parker to get traded this week. Here's some comments from his agent:

“I am responding that coach Gase is not telling the truth and his decision was an example of poor management and cost the team the best opportunity to win,” Gould said. “He continues attacking the health of my client and that is not acceptable. Parker is not only healthy but wants to help this team win and the only real question that should be asked is how does coach Gase justify his own incompetence. The team averaged only 6.1 yards per catch. They needed Parker active. He is completely healthy and was in full participation all week and in warmups this morning. Something smells in Miami.”

Parker has been a complete bust in Miami. Despite being the #14 pick in the 2015 draft Parker's best season was 744 yards in 2016. If the Dolphins trade him they'll likely get something like a 6th round pick.

Albert Wilson was apparently hurt bad enough yesterday to miss at least a few weeks, possibly the rest of the season. In that light, I'm not sure the Dolphins can afford to get rid of Parker, unless the relationship between him and the club is really that toxic.

Was looking at Browns forums this morning hoping for a Hue Jackson firing announcement, but...



Last year, he successfully threw Sashi Brown under the bus (perhaps rightfully so, because I don't think Sashi would've nailed the first round of this draft the way John Dorsey has), and now he's trying to do the same to Todd Haley.

Since he came aboard, I've thought that Haley's main motivation taking the OC gig was to inherit the throne once Hue gets canned. I hope you're right about Hue not winning the power struggle; but I'm somewhat skeptical because at least up to this point, he seems to have Jimmy Truck Stop pretty well bamboozled.

Hue's remark at the post-game press conference about "diving back into the offense" (basically trying to point the blame at Haley) prompted a Cleveland sportswriter (Bud Shaw) to say, "Hue diving into the offense the last two years is what led him into diving into Lake Erie".

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Le'Veon Bell did not report to the team on Monday morning.

Bell had been expected to return during the bye week, but Jason La Canfora reported Sunday it is "more likely" the running back returns to the team ahead of Week 9. It seems like no one except Bell really knows when he plans to report, and it remains possible he takes his holdout all the way through Week 10, after which he has to report to earn an accrued season and become a free agent. It appears as if James Conner will get at least one more game if not more of workhorse usage.

Welp, we know this was gonna happen. The NYJ hung in there for a bit, but then shat the bed as usual, haha. Oh well, the needle is still pointing up for the future...Sam has gone up against some pretty stout defenses this year, he can only learn from that and progress.

Being over generous, 5 wins would be 8-8...and that would have to include a Washington sweep to even have a chance at the division.
Just don’t see that happening. The team caught ultimate fire last season and that won’t be happening again. Need to start thinking about unloading payroll and maybe score some picks.

To be fair, that penalty against the long snapper at the end was BS and probably cost the Cowboys overtime. Coaching shouldn't have put them in that position to begin with but it's not like the most recent L was totally Garrett's fault.
