And now the Cowboys get penalized on a field goal attempt, moving them from a 47-yard attempt to a 52-yard attempt to send the game into overtime...and the ball just misses, deflecting off the side of the goalpost.

Well like Doug said, pressure is off now. Even if they do manage to make the playoffs they don’t have enough depth to do anything.

Pressure's not off, all any other team sees now is a Super Bowl champ that's insanely vulnerable. Maybe we don't have as big a target on our back because we're not the biggest fish out there (Rams, Vikings, Saints, maybe even the Skins and Bears in the NFC). I get why Doug said that, so the players can loosen up a bit and hopefully get back some of the mojo we played with last season. But there are glaring issues that need to be addressed, ideally before the trade deadline, and we can't afford to just say "screw it, let's just do our best and whatever happens happens." Our division's a joke and we still might not repeat at #1. That's embarassing.
