Hell, a regular season football game get better ratings than a World Series game.

And baseball hasn't? It's stupid arguing which is better, but suggesting football has done more for the US than baseball is ignorant of a lot of history.

Only the Redskins would have a SICK offense with 1 player and then an entire side of the ball would fall apart... Unreal RG3 has improved us this much with no wideouts and an awful line.

Or at least they now also support it as a measure of a QB.
I'd by this if QBR wasn't subjective. They try to pretend that it's not, but they also try to defend that they "objectively" decide between a bad throw and a dropped pass.

Baseball I still think would captivate America better than football. I mean think of all the no hitters that stations break too, nobody breaks to the Pats game to watch x amount of touchdowns be thrown or a shutout on defense. Look no further than Sosa & BigMac I mean you basically had the entire US following that, and really that put baseball back on the map after the strike. The closest thing to that in my opinion would be the Patriots in 2007 and even that didn't start till the last few games (I believe Sosa v. Mac started to captivate the nation when the homers got in the high 30s).

Love football more but there is nothing better than magical baseball situations.

TV ratings and water cooler talk say otherwise. When I go into work in the summer no one is talking about baseball. When I go into work during the football season, it's all football all the time. Football is a way of life in our society right now.

There is baseball talk every single day all summer long where I work.

And in fact Mondays is half football/half baseball.

What does it mean? Anecdotal evidence doesn't mean anything.

I get mad when my radio station has baseball coverage on when they could be talking skins I have a twitter set up just to badger the station I'm simply saying due to baseballs history it still seems to have moments that are worth stopping other things to pay attention too, now maybe that's due to the schedule I mean they can cut to a Tuesday night baseball game and not effect anything. But take Matt Ryan's sick drive NFL fans didn't stop to watch that one drive, I know I wouldn't and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't turn off a 21-21 bills game, if anything nfl fans would get pissed their team went away .

Not where I work. In general, baseball popularity isn't even a fly on a wall when you compare it to football. Football is king, baby!

Baseball was certainly and undoubtedly was a huge part of our country at one time. But times have changed, right now no sport can touch football. It's such an incredible sport. I love it so much, it means so much to me. And I think many, many people in our country agree.

Oh I know it can't touch baseball I'd rather watch the skins then a world series orioles or nationals game. I'm just saying football doesn't seem to have those drop everything moments like baseball has where you can care about the pitcher from Chicago, or the batter from St. Louis.

What would be bigger in Chicago another Bears Super Bowl or a cubs championship (again I'm aware this isn't a one for one as most towns aren't Boston, Chicago, ny, exc. when it comes to baseball )

Ehh, we're arguing different points. Let's just talk football.
