So as I'm watching this game, I can't help but wonder how much better a lot of QBs would have if they had a Boldin type to throw to.

Watching the QB make an insane throw into really good coverage to watch the guy just go get it. Several QBs have never had that luxury.

How many "Jump ball" receivers are in the NFL?

Sure, they are tops, but how many are there beyond those guys?

Even top yardage receivers I don't feel that way about. Andre Johnson? Brandon Marshall? Vincent Jackson?

It's quite a luxury to have, to have one of those guys.

That's a prime example of why the defenseless receiver rule bugs me.

There was nothing the defender could have done more to avoid the hit. Nothing. And it's not his fault the receiver didn't catch the ball. It's certainly not the defenders fault that the offensive guy lowered his head to spear the defender.
