He's been in a few games.

The Jets initially believed Tim Tebow’s rib injury was not that serious when it occurred on Nov. 11 in Seattle. The team did not give him an MRI exam and CT scan until Tuesday, nine days after the injury occurred, the team confirmed Friday. The tests revealed Tebow had two broken ribs.
Tebow had X-rays in Seattle that did not show the fractures. He was treated with ice and played last Sunday against the Rams. Tebow had trouble sleeping on Monday night and the Jets doctors decided to give him an MRI exam and CT scan on Tuesday.

What is the most embarrassing loss of the season so far?

Lots to choose from

Jets shutout by 49ers
Jets dominated by Pats
Chargers give up 4th and 29 to lose
Chargers Monday night debacle vs Broncos
Titans squished by the Bears

I would vote for Packers loss to Giants, or Saints loss to Chiefs.

That 41-3 Jaguars loss to the Bears is tops for me, they were completely dominated in every sense of the word.

Sucks... He was one of the people that probably would have been in the zone later in his career.

i was very surprised NFL network and ESPN didn't at least have a "breaking news" info alert. i know they had it on the bottom of the screen, but they usually cut to an actual news anchor stating it, even if they have zero facts.

very sad to hear this happened.

i'm sure on ESPN.com articles there are already tasteless comments about this happening on a team having a terrible year

***edit: nevermind, much worse comments already on espn articles (and probably other articles as well). geez.

According to what happened its even sadder because so many people got exposed to it.. It wasn't like he was at home shot his girlfriend, drove to an empty facility and in private did it .

Reports are still coming in regarding a tragedy involving the Kansas City Chiefs, but here's what we know at this time. Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher shot and killed his girlfriend at a house near the team's facility on Saturday morning. Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan, who is on scene, confirmed the name of the player after speaking with local police.

After the shooting, Belcher drove to a location near the team's main campus and took his own life. Per the Kansas City Star, members of the team's staff tried to stop Belcher from committing any other acts of violence before the player turned a gun on himself. The Chiefs' Arrowhead practice facility was evacuated and is currently on police lockdown.

Albert Breer of the NFL Network reported that the mother of the murdered woman called police and told them that her daughter had been shot. Police arrived at the Chiefs' facility only to find Belcher in the parking lot with a gun to his head. As one officer got out of his car, he heard a gunshot. Belcher was later pronounced dead. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports said that Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli and head coach Romeo Crennel were among the team employees in the vicinity.

According to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, Chiefs players have been asked to assemble at the team's main facility so that they can be informed of all the details.

The Chiefs are scheduled to play the Carolina Panthers at Arrowhead at 1:00 PM ET Sunday, and per Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer, the Panthers have been told by the league to travel to Kansas City as if the game will be played. The Panthers' plane is set to leave at 1:15 PM ET today.
Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
Sad sad story.

ESPN news has it as breaking news alert but does not have the name of the player listed this is so sad.
