Dez Bryant really is a rare talent but he's also immature and prone to horrific mistakes so you have to decide whether the good outweighs the bad. I do think if we can keep Romo upright next week we should be able to use the Romo to Bryant connection to scorch Newman early and often. It says a bit that I'm hearing out of Dallas that despite his current production the Cowboys are not sure they want to give Bryant a new contract.

San Diego did clinch _not_ being in the playoffs. Does that count?

He meant to say Denver. But we'll forgive him this time.

Mike Pereira of Fox Sports confirmed that the intentional grounding call against the 49ers was the wrong call. From the link:

Quote:
Pretty unusual, but this is the only time when the goal line still extends "around the world." The intentional grounding rule states that when the quarterback is out of the pocket, it is not intentional grounding if he throws a forward pass that lands at or beyond the line of scrimmage, including when the ball lands out of bounds over the sideline.

This ball was snapped from the 17-yard line and Kaepenick’s pass landed out of bounds somewhere near the 20. This should not have been a safety.

When judging whether a pass gets back to the line of scrimmage, it’s not where the pass crosses the sideline, it’s where it lands out of bounds. This cost the 49ers two points and it helped the Rams eventually tie the game and force overtime, leading to the St. Louis victory.
This may have been overturned if the play had been reviewed, but intentional grounding is not a reviewable play.

Last season at Oklahoma, WR Ryan Broyles tore his left ACL. On Sunday, Broyles tore his right ACL. Beyond unfortunate.

Of course a shitty call cost us the game. These refs no matter who they are. Real or not suck! The refs basically gave the game to the rams with that call. Hood job there shady refs.

We have the Redskins, Squealers, Bengals and Saints left. Honestly can't see us going better than 1-2 in those games before the season finale but it does help that we finally seem to be turning the corner on offense with the emergence of Bryant and the return of Murray.

Calm down on Bryant the only reason he had a big game is because I was playing him in fantasy and in every game I either get beat or barley win because of a freak single performance

Dez is a little messed up right now but, he can have a long career if he gets his head on straight. He's been good recently and hasn't had any off the field issues so he's on the right track.

Jets GM needs to be fired for the talent on the roster and handing out these contracts to Sanchez and Holmes. If it weren't for the guaranteed $, Holmes probably would've been gone after last year and Sanchez could've been let go after this season.

I think you mean DeAngelo Hall and while I think Dez needs to learn to walk away, Hall did slap him in the head so he did have a right to get in his face about it. Hope he can keep it up, yesterday's touchdown where he dragged DRC 6 yards into the end zone was just ridiculous.

Yeah, I forgot who it was.

I saw him get slapped….i thought it was hilarious!! u could tell how pissed he was and couldn’t do anything about it.

He even checked if any ref’s were watching and faked taking a swing @ him…..Hall didn’t even flinch!!

I'm really looking forward to tonight's game, the Giants should have their hands full trying to contain RGIII.
