what sucks for the Jets is it doesn't seem to be a specific issue... it seems very much to be an atmosphere / attitude problem. and maybe one or two major changes would take care of that but it seems like it might start at the top with Rex... i think players don't mind his personality when they win (any team can deal with anything when winning of course) but now after two down years (and this past one being especially bad) the atmosphere over that team is just getting worse and worse.

Yup. Time to do a top to bottom flushing of the front office and coaching situation. If I was Woody, I would pony up the cash and try to lure Cowher. Woody love the press releases and that would be a big one. Although Reid would fit that bill as well.

agreed. and Joe Thomas is still a stud (but certainly not getting any younger) and if Joe Haden can realize his potential and stop being a stupid kid from Florida, that would help too.

Cleveland also has to stop reshuffling the deck every 10 months. that would help too

usually people who have nothing else in their lives but their beer and their team.

in my heart i know we beat the Steelers, but we didn't beat the refs (or pay them or whatever). had Cowher already had a ring, or Steelers had a different coach, that game gets called differently. i hate to say it, but i believe it.

but that was then. this team is, imo, much better than that team. and we should only be getting better. best part is no one will realize this since we're up in the great Pacific Northwest
