sycro has some kind of problem with Smith for a reason, but whatever.

you worry too much.

you can worry about Kap, worry about the defense and what starters they will lose, worry about offensive players who will eat up money and cap space that have done little (Manningham, Moss) and many other things.

enjoy the season your team is having!!!

two straight NFC Championship game appearances should be embraced and enjoyed. yes, it will sting and hurt like hell if they don't win a SB, but at least for tonight, embrace that your team demolished the Packers.

hell, i've been watching highlights again and again because i absolutely HATE the Packers, so this should be even more enjoyable for you since your a 49ers fan

it would be excellent for the NFC West to have an NFC West NFC Championship game a few years removed from the Hawks winning the division at 7-9. everyone laughed and giggled and said the Seahawks shouldn't even be in the playoffs. of course they then upset the Saints (defending SB champs mind you

)

so it would be fitting that a few years later a team from the NFC West would be going to the Super Bowl.

But isn't that every sports fan though. No matter what sport it is, they worry about something. It's good to show alot of the people who thought the packers roll into town and win. But like others have said, you haven't done nothing really until you are holding the trophy, with a ring on your finger.

Their offense was very good, but their defensive numbers were very bad last year (of course, not the historically bad numbers they are this year). And Smith played well, but he got a lot of help from the 4 INTs Brees threw.

for god's sake even Nick Saban gives himself 24 hours to celebrate a victory before moving on to the next game. and you have much less to worry about than Saban

For your defense, they certainly will be (it's all pass). But the Falcons might have more experience than any other team in the league against mobile QBs (Vick, RG3, Cam x 2, Wilson). Of course, we were really bad against Cam, but we did well against Vick and RG3.

I'd still take him over bearcat any day because you can get more obnoxious then that.

And don't underestimate the Falcons they've got something to prove so they will be tough too.
