I thought they'd go with Roman as well. I really think the Jags needed an offensive-minded coach. The Jags offense has been stagnant for years and they need a spark, and Roman has done a great job in San Fran. There may be a belief though that San Francisco's offensive turnaround is the work of Jim Harbaugh and that Roman doesn't deserve as much of the credit.

Be careful what you wish for, this would NOT be a good match up for the Falcons. They would have a much easier time with Ravens.

Looks like we missed our chances to bring in Alex Smith as right now it seems we're going to stick with Gabbert for at least another year. Some people here aren't that excited, and some are thinking that we rushed into another head coach.

I do think we're going to use our 2nd overall pick on a pass rusher. Another area where we struggled year after year.

The only way I could see the Jags getting Te'o is if they traded down. Even before this hoax story there was no way Te'o was going #2. He lacks the speed to even be an elite linebacker and with the #2 pick you're not going to take someone that doesn't have the physical skills needed to be a superstar. I think the Jags will definitely go with a front 7 player and I'd guess they'll end up with Jarvis Jones (if he checks out medically), Star Lotulelei, Damontre Moore, or Bjoern Werner.

They'd never bring him here. A) We have a 3rd string QB who runs the same style and can throw the ball. B) The UGA fans would never allow it.
