This is the Ravens year. Ray Lewis retiring, Flacco taking up the mantle and bringing the Ravens into a new offensive juggernaut mode.

I fully beliegve that it's time for Ray Lewis to get his second ring, and for Ed Reed, Ray Rice, Joe Flacco, Terrell Suggs, Anquan Boldin, and Torrey Smith to get theirs!!!!

Though I think we may have a bit of a drop off after Ray retires, we will bounce back, it's not a full rebuilding like some teams. But the 49ers are definitely on the updraft, so they will be a perennial contender.


Regardless, it will be a great DEFENSIVE Super Bowl. Which is what football is all about.

im glad it's BAL vs SF. That's the best matchup IMO.

Atlanta just doesn't know how to win. Matt Ryan choked away a playoff game once again while the Pats made too many mental errors to belong in the SuperBowl.

Flacco and Kaep both showed great poise. Their defenses were both great in the 2nd half and obviously it'll be a matchup of the same philosophies.

As far as Ray Lewis goes. He's one of the greatest defensive players of all time and I respect him for that. The murder charge? I don't know what happened and that's between him and God.

But his whole religion schtick is getting really old. I respect he honors God, because I do to. But his act just comes off as fake and egotistical. When the rest of the Ravens were talking about the upcoming challenge with the Niners, he was feeding his ego talking about how it was meant to be because HE'S playing hurt, and it's HIS last ride, and God has a plan for HIM. I'm like dude get over yourself. Justin Smith hasn't even had surgery yet and he's out there playing. And I'm sure there are players on the Niners who worship God just as much, but they don't have to make it seem like God has anointed them Super Bowl champions. If anyone should be acting like that, it should be Tony Gonzalez. A HOF career with one playoff win is enough to make any man cry. Ray already has his ring, so quit with this act.

Let the man have his retirement game in the super bowl. If you hate him so much don't watch.

I'll hope and wish for what I want. None of us Browns fans like Lewis or the Ravens. What's disliking Lewis got to do with watching the SB? I'm hoping they get pounded and he doesn't get another ring...that'll make the game enjoyable.

Its been how many years since the browns were moved? The person responsible for it has passed away, and the new owner cannot move the team back due to Cleveland having a new Browns team so I don't get why the hate is still there for you guys. Your team is your team I get it but don't fault the players for an owners issue.

Because Reaps...we didn't have football for 3 years and the club that Modell moved ended up being a contender. Drive down to Cleveland sometime and tell those people that Art was ok and should be forgiven....wear a helmet.

No I wouldn't, Remember I live in Detroit, the city that accepts mediocre in Baseball and Football and hasn't known a good Football team since 1955. So I enjoy watching the Ravens when they are on, and I enjoy watching the 9er's. Honestly this is a great Superbowl for me cause I hope my team coaches are watching to see what real football is about.

I'm not saying Art should be forgiven, I'm saying hating the players on the Ravens or wishing them ill because of a decision someone who is dead made just seems obtuse. You have football now, your team is starting to gain steam, It's a far cry from when Jim Brown wore the uniform but the NFL is back in Cleveland now and your team is getting better.
