I heard on knbr that 49ers own him...already paid him bonus and a lot of money for his rights so they are going to trade him to get something in return instead of releasing him.

The 49ers can try to trade Smith but there's no guarantee they'll find any takers. Last year Smith was an unrestricted free agent coming off his best season and an NFC championship appearance and the only team that showed any interest in him was the Dolphins, and it's questionable how much interest they truly had in him. If it turns out there isn't much of a trade market for Smith then teams will just wait for the 49ers to release him because they know the 49ers will have to release Smith by April 1 because if Smith is still on the roster that day then his entire 2013 salary becomes guaranteed and the 49ers aren't going to lock up that much money in a backup QB.

I'm not feeling the new Jaguars logo. Looks like a kitty cat

EDIT: After looking at a bigger picture of our new logo. It's not too bad. It will take some time to get used to. All my new Nike gear is old. Time to buy new gear for 2013.

Everyone on their for the better part agrees those were bad calls by the refs. So it's not just a few people crying foul over this. Refs basically helped the Ravens steal this.

yep a lot of teams will be cleaning house this year.. Raiders as well, Seymour, Kelly, Shaunessey, McClain and Des. Bryant will all be gone next year.. thats pretty much our whole starting D line, not that they were all that great anyways

i thiink its time to give this a rest already, you must have 50 post about this today alone.. its over, 49ers blew the game the refs didn't.. end of story

its all good man, i understand you're mad that your team lost and i don't blame you.. I mean i was pissed when the Raiders got robbed in the AFC Championship game when Woodson stripped Brady and they called it an imcomplete pass and next season they created the Brady rule..

It's true. As a Jags fan I go into every game expecting to lose, so I'm never disappointed.
