No Seahawks in the poll? Shame.

Jets futility

The rookie QB

Found out the Jags got rid of our long time FB Greg Jones who is now a Texans. Greg Jones blocked for Fred Taylor, and Jones-Drew. He will be missed.

Greg Jones will do a great job blocking for Foster for the Texans. Jones will probably see a few more passes come his way if the Texans use him other than just blocking and opening up holes for Foster.

Did I say I was going to add Seattle, and ATL?

Navster must be putting words in my posts again.

I'm happy with signing Greg Jones, it will give us our first real fullback since Vontae Leach. Is this enough to get us added to the poll?

He will contribute to the running game as a blocker for sure. He does have trouble dropping short passes, and he doesn't gain much yardage after the catch especially how built this guy is.

My Jags are cleaning house for sure, and they're pretty quiet over for the FA side.

You said you'd add Atlanta. I added that you should probably add Seattle too.

Anyone else before I redo the poll?

EDIT: I'll add Texans, Falcons, and Seahawks.

I was thinking, are the Seahawks really considered an elite team right now? I feel the Saints are just a step below of being with the elite teams listed. Depends if the Saints are clicking to begin Week 1.

Just because the Ravens are defending champs doesn't mean they have any business in this poll. They're probably somewhere between a 6 and 8 win team at best with the talent remaining.

I would say freak talent much like dez bryant exc. but just an odd work ethic. If you put a tebow heart in davis/bryant you've got a HOFer. I mean the guy slept in and missed the first practice his rookie year (who does that? I'd be there early and amped). That said you guys did get the most out of Landry (pro bowl season) so based on his own mistakes/ inconsistent production I'd say its worth the gamble for most teams because he's low risk/high reward.

I'd say his ethic/ locker room deminor aren't destructive like Haynesworth/ T.O, it just seems more lazy care free and probably more sad as those guys probably have mental issues where this is just head in the sand type deal when he could be amazing.

Don't forget to mention the multiple failed drug tests for marijuana that caused him to get a 4-game suspension in 2011.

Raiders should just cut Palmer (wait as long as possible though so the market for him dries up) and give Pryor a chance. The Raiders are going to be terrible next year no matter who is under center as it's going to take several years to recover from the past regime's terrible team/cap management. If Pryor isn't the future then they can draft a QB in next year's class, which looks incredibly strong.
