Dat 49ers. If Crabtree gets hurt, I'm sure another will step up. Just more balls thrown to Davis i guess, along with AJ Jenkins. Can't forget Boldin and Manningham.

Yeah, Manningham and Kyle Williams are both coming off torn ACLs. Williams tore his ACL in late November and Manningham tore his ACL and PCL in late December. The 49ers are really going to need last year's first round pick A.J. Jenkins to live up to his potential after being virtually invisible his entire rookie season, which he finished with zero catches and was inactive most of the season.

Dallas Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent will attend a hearing on Friday morning to determine if he violated the conditions of his bond.

According to the Dallas County District Attorney's office, Brent's alcohol-monitoring device detected alcohol in his system.

Debbie Denmon, a district attorney office spokesperson, said the office is seeking to have Brent's $100,000 bond revoked because he is not meeting the conditions of his release.

Brent is schedule to appear in front of Dallas State District Judge Robert Burns at 9 a.m. CT Friday.

According to a source, Brent did not use any alcoholic beverages. Brent's attorneys were trying to determine how alcohol got into his system. The source said it may have happened by using mouthwash or eating a particular kind of food.

Brent is awaiting trial on charges of intoxication manslaughter in the death of Cowboys practice squad player and Brent's best friend, Jerry Brown.

Brown was killed on Dec. 8 in Irving, Texas, when Brent crashed his car after a night of drinking. Brown was a passenger in the car.

According to the conditions of his bond, Brent was ordered to wear an alcohol-monitoring device, which detects whether he has been drinking.

The source said the device has gone off several times.

That situation in a nutshell is why I wouldn't hire Rex as my head coach, if I owned a team. It's three months before the season, the time where you have a chance to correct things, and instead he blasts the guy who he's defended for the past two years during OTAs of all times. Rex is just trying to save his own job, and I get that. But he's such a lunkhead and if anyone thinks he'll do better developing Geno, I don't know what to say to that. Geno has a stronger arm, but seems more prone to pouting and caving to external pressure.

Josh Brent's bond wasn't revoked and he will stay out of jail for the time being. I still don't understand why the Cowboys haven't cut Brent. It's not like he was anything special and the odds of him ever playing for the Cowboys (or in the NFL in general) are slim, so why not cut him now, get rid of the distraction, and not have any association with him again.

You're forgetting about rookie Quinton Patton, who will go down as the biggest steal of this draft. Top 5 WR in the draft, without a doubt, and he slides to the 5th round.

Actually, the 49ers got all the steals of the draft... Carradine, Lattimore, Patton.

Former Lions wide receiver Titus Young, who has been jailed since May 11, appeared on Friday in a California court, where he formally found out he would be facing a total of 11 charges stemming from his recent crime spree. Young also learned that his bail would be raised from $25,000 to $50,000.

Young has been arrested four times since May 4, including an attempted burglary on May 11 that led to his current incarceration.

Things involving Young always seem to turn odd at some point, and Friday's court appearance was no different. While in court, Young -- appearing inside a protective cage -- completely ignored the judge, according to USA Today.

"Good morning, sir," Judge Andre Manssourian said to Young.

After getting no reply, the judge asked Young, "Can you hear me?"

After getting no reply to that, the judge asked, "Are you Titus Demetrius Young?"

Again, the judge received no reply.

Young's lawyer, Altus W. Hudson II, stated that Young was merely exercising his right to remain silent. Young's father, Richard Young, also called out for Titus but didn't receive a reply, either.

Young's mental health has been in question recently, so much so that Manssourian stated his reason for raising bail was because Young "poses a danger to the community."

That community includes Young's ex-girlfriend, who has a temporary restraining order against him.

Young's next court appearance -- a pre-trial hearing -- is scheduled for June 4. That will be followed by a preliminary hearing that's scheduled for June 6.

Yea but he's not even a risk for the Niners... They had like 13 draft picks. Can't keep them all anyways.

Put Lattimore on IR immediately, saving a roster spot. Then activate him during the season if he's ready... You can designate one player on IR to return.

Of course, they might use that on Crabtree instead... but I'd think he's done for the season for sure.
