Was listening to the ESPN Radio on the way home.

The Cowboys don't even have the players for the defense they are trying to switch to, so they are going to throw people into non-natural positions and pray it works.

The O-line prospects are dropping like flies to injury, and the projected starting line early season atm looks even worse than the one last year. Which is saying a lot.

And yet Romo will get the blame for this team's failure. Same as always.

He was injured most of last year, and wasn't a good fit for our new defense. We wanted to give him a real chance to latch on somewhere else.

Prosecutors have begun making the case to a Suffolk County grand jury that former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez should be charged in the shooting death of two men on a South End street last July, according to two law enforcement officials briefed on the investigation.

“The case against Hernandez appears to be strengthening,” one of the officials said. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the case publicly.

How many starting QBs with minimal play-off success that haven't been to the play-offs in 3 years get paid like a champion? Romo is exceptionally polarizing, he may not be the whole problem but he's not the answer either and 7 years of him is more than enough for me. Wish we had a better option right now but we don't.

Yeah I know but he's not good enough to get our team with its snake-bitten roster to the play-offs anymore, he seems to have a knack for getting us to .500 every year though. Drives me nuts because it makes some fans think we're good, 8-8 isn't good...it's mediocre. They keep saying if we had less injuries we'd be a play-off team, well when you rely on brittle people they're going to get hurt. Until we have a better roster with more talent that doesn't get banged up so easily we're not going to go anywhere. Romo's 1-5 record in the play-offs isn't exactly stellar either.

I think people are giving him the benefit of the doubt because he's new, but Luck had better ramp up completion % fast, and bring his turnover rate way down, or he'll just be another casualty of the hype parade. In his first season he was Romo with a much worse completion %. That's not the guy someone wants to be long term.

I agree... I don't think Luck is that good. He sucked horrendously against our historically bad defense. He threw a pick to Michael Griffin... and it's safe to say if you throw picks to Griffin, you aren't very good. He had 4 picks in 2012. They came from Sanchez, Henne, and Luck. That's it.

I just thought everyone else thought Luck was Jesus for some reason, so I used it as an example.

I don't think Locker is ever going to be that good, but I do think he'll be much improved - I hope. We'll see.

And he couldn't do anything when rg3 wasn't offsetting coverage to give him holes. The guys a good comp back who can scoot when he's got a good qb but can't carry the team like an ap or any of the other backs he was around on the stat list

I think Romo has what it takes to get to the SB..maybe not win it..but get there. They NEED a running game behind him to take the pressure off

Lots of them. David Garrard got a Romo-sized contract. Would you rather have him than Romo? How about Matthew Stafford?

Do people honestly think it is impossible for a good QB to be on a team so bad that the team can lose in spite of the QB? I don't. And I think Romo is exhibit A.

Top 5 QB statistically all time who everyone and their mother thinks sucks because of a non-QB stat.

My measuring stick is how many QB's would have success with these Cowboys?
Eli Manning? No chance
Ben R? No way
Joe Flacco? Don't make me laugh.
Tom Brady? Brady's weakness is getting hit, and he'd get hit a LOT behind these Cowboys. I don't think so.
Peyton Manning? As fast as he gets rid of the ball, the Cowboy's o-line is so bad that it's not infrequent that defenders reach the QB at the same time the ball does. Having said this, this is the only guy in the league I think might have taken the Cowboys somewhere.

The title of "hero" is often thrown around freely in the world of sports. On Tuesday, Tennessee Titans linebacker Jonathan Willard truly earned that title.

The 6'2", 225-pound Willard reportedly saved a family from a burning car, according to David Hood of USA Today.

Willard, who signed with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson after the 2013 NFL draft, told Hood that he spotted a car with black smoke coming out of it while driving from South Carolina to Tennessee for the Titans' upcoming training camp.

Sensing the danger that the woman, three children and dog were in, Willard reportedly sped up, flashed his brights and honked his horn in an attempt to catch the attention of the driver, finally getting her to pull over. From there, the linebacker sprung into action.

When she pulled over, the car was really on fire at that point. The driver, she acted like she was in some kind of daze or something. She told me that she didn't stop because she didn't think it was her car that was on fire. Another guy stopped, and we managed to get the kids and the dog out and get them to safety, and then I finally got the woman out.

While you'd like to think that it would be common sense to help the family when the car was billowing smoke on the road, Willard told USA Today that several people just passed by without stopping to see what they could do to help.

I was just glad that we got the kids and all of them out of the car. I was thinking that I was just doing what everybody else would do, but there were cars just going past us and no one else was stopping, so I don't know if that is what would happen or not.

As an undrafted free agent, Willard will have to prove himself in training camp and throughout the preseason. The linebacker certainly put together a strong career at Clemson, where he led the team in tackles (85) and tackles for loss (10.5) last season.

In a league that has been criticized of late for an alarming number of player arrests in the offseason, it's nice to see a player be recognized for a positive act of bravery.

Damn Tom Brady is great at generic interviews where a lot of meaningless words come out. Asked about Hernandez for the first time he gives a robotic response about looking forward to the upcoming season, completely ignoring the actual question. I'm sure the Hoodie will give more or less the same non answer when asked about Hernandez.
