Seahawks paid him $8 million, Raiders paid him $6.5 million. Flynn was only supposed to earn $5.25 million this year under the contract he signed with the Seahawks, but the Raiders restructured the deal when he was traded. The restructure lowered Flynn's 2014 salary and got rid of some incentives that he could have hit if he had started for two seasons, but since Flynn won't hit the incentives or be on the team in 2014 the Raiders essentially gave Flynn an extra $1.25 million for nothing.

I am tired of Kubiak's post-game press conferences EVERY week where he says "It's on me" when asked who is to blame for a bad play. Sometimes it is the players fault and sometimes it IS his fault. I just think with our owner's laid back attitude and not wanting to make drastic changes, we are stuck with what we have. Players AND coaches both need to be accountable for their mistakes. Make too many mistakes and you're gone. I know the QB and RB positions have to be treated differently but I hate seeing Ben Tate bust his ass to make things happen but then ending up in the doghouse again as soon as he makes a mistake. Meanwhile Schaub is allowed to keep making mistakes. |

ATV has always been very underrated. He's not your prototypical starting CB because he's small and not that fast, but his instincts are incredible and he's a great tackler. And not that this matters, but he's probably the second smartest guy on our team behind Fitzpatrick. His strip 6 on Pettigrew last year was awesome. |
