Except the Pats that year had one of the easiest schedules of all time whereas Arizona is playing in the toughest division in football and also had 4 out of division games against teams that would currently make the playoffs.

Looks like Raiders will be looking for another head coach soon, Per Adam Schefter, Dennis Allen went to owner Mark Davis to seek extensions for his assistants and Davis declined. Which all but seals his fate as well...

I hope this time we hire someone with experience and more discipline. Raiders will have about $60M cap space to sign tons of decent players too

Looking forward to next year, well, I guess as a Raiders fan its always about next year

You can't buy a good team, what you can do is draft well and then give those players solid contracts. Cowboys need to go all defense in the next draft and 2 OL as well.

If Allen gets fired after 2 seasons with that garbage roster there's no way the Raiders will be able to get a quality coach because it will be clear Mark Davis is no different than his dad. There's not a coach in the NFL that could have succeeded with that roster due to the damage that was done by Al Davis. They had no cap space and the loss of 2 high draft picks due to the moronic Carson Palmer trade. If Allen is fired the Raiders will end up with another assistant nobody has ever heard of.

Yeah they need to just give the Cardinals the spot the NFC East champion would've gotten, although situations such as this are why we will possibly have 7 seeds in each conference soon.

Pretty much sums up the past 12 years, its a 2 year cycle that we go though with such terrible ownership and management... At least were finally out of cap trouble, dead money, and stupid contracts

Granted he shouldn't play for health reasons but you just want him to stay home so the cowboys auto-lose and get a higher draft pick. You don't deserve that avatar with reasoning like that. Besides, Jerry will probably trade it away or something similarly stupid anyway.

We are the opposite. We had better go all offense this next draft. The only skill players worth anything are Ivory and Kerley. Possibly Cumberland, but he's more of a TE2. I would look into signing Maclin, and possibly Brandon Albert if he's available.

Kyle Orton is probably the best back-up QB in the league and with him in(we hope) the Cowboys will lean on their 5.2 ypc back and throw down the field to Bryant and Williams and Witten. We CAN win, it will just take mistake-free football and probably our best effort of the season on defense.
