He's a free agent I believe.

Really glad to see us resign Dan Carpenter. He was MONEY for us last year and had one of the better years across the league amongst kickers. He has a hell of a leg on him which is needed in Orchard Park, New York.

I love D-Ware and always will but this is the best move for him and the franchise, assuming they draft a pass rusher in the first round or two. The entire defensive line aside from Tyrone Crawford is just too old, will take 2-4 years to rebuild it and that's assuming Jason and Jerry are willing to put the work in to get it done.
