I don't think the majority of the league has arrest records, of course I have no empirocal data to back that up, just a guess on my part.
I'd love to see a league wide breakdown of players that have been arrested, by position. Would be kind of interesting.

Henne actually played well. Didn't turn the ball over once. Just made a few bad throws, plus our young WR's dropped critical passes on 3rd down in the 2nd half. Oh yeah, that 4th and inches to Marcedes "Butterfinger" Lewis!

There is definitely outrage...but it would be much, much more if it were mixed race. It would become an automatic lightning rod for racial stereotyping, unfortunately, I fear.

I've got to hand it to the Jags, that first half they just dominated. I wonder if Chip Kelly's up tempo offense just worn the Jags down in the 2nd half, because they just looked like a completely different team?

All I'm saying is all you hear about is NFL players getting arrested for whatever things they were doing. Whether it's spousal abuse, drugs, DUI's, suspected, gun charges and whatever else you can think of they get in trouble for.

The silent majority of NFL players are law abiding citizens. You don't hear much about them because they are doing what they are supposed to be doing, following the law. It's the knuckleheads that screw up who are talked about even though they are very few in the grand scheme of things.

NFL players have a lower arrest rate than the average US adult male for DUI, drugs, and assault. The only category where NFL players have a higher arrest rate is on weapons charges, and those numbers are fairly miniscule. The main difference is when an NFL player gets arrested it's always news so you're more likely to hear about it.

People are, but he only got a two game suspension and the NAACP & ACLU didn't seem too concerned about his behavior. Whereas, if he was white, it would be the top news story on every channel for a month and people would be marching and having demonstrations.

Probably, but again our offense couldn't bail us out. I think we only converted 1 3rd down. If you can't convert the defense will get tired and that's what happened.
