I just don't like EJ Manuel and re: fantasy, Romo will have better weeks than he had Sunday but he will also have worse. That's just who he is and why he tends to not go off the draft board until the 6th or 7th round. Like a stupider Drew Brees really and the worst part is the coaching staff does nothing to rein him in during his terrible games.

Ray Rice to be removed from Madden 15

http://fullscalesports.com/2014/09/0...rom-madden-15/

Quote:
Now that Ray Rice has been suspended indefinitely and released from the Baltimore Ravens, EA Sports is also removing Rice. According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports 1, EA Sports is planning to remove Rice from Madden ’15 and he won’t be a part of the Ravens team or free agents list.
Sorry if this was posted earlier.

Jason has failed as a coach in the NFL. I do not think Jason could be successful with any team in the league. He gets some thing right, but man, when he gets things wrong, he really gets them wrong. If Jason can't / won't get the Red Zone coaching perfected, then all the other BS about how they got to the red zone is BS to me.

It's time for EVERYONE involved in Ray Rice debacle to tell the whole truth, starting with NFL commish Roger Goodell

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/fo...icle-1.1933309

It starts with Commissioner Roger Goodell, whose lieutenants have said that no one in the league office saw that video until the world saw it on Monday morning. Goodell needs to look into a television camera and say that himself.

Goodell is the one who has allowed the television expansion of his sport to stretch from Sunday all the way to Thursday night. The league has a big Thursday night game this week, Steelers and Ravens. If Goodell hasn’t come forward to explain himself by then, he should do it at halftime Thursday night

It's not that simple, and I think we all know that. It can often take years for a victim to leave their abuser. Not to mention that she spoke to Goodell with Rice and NFL/Ravens representatives in the room with her. IMO, she was essentially bullied into being the 'good wife.' At the very least, she couldn't see that leaving was the best option for her and her daughter.

I can't begin to understand why Janay would marry Rice. But I also don't understand why so many powerful people, when the chance presented itself, didn't help her.

To answer your question, they are Gore, CJ2K, MJD, SJax, and Hyde.
I've been leaning towards that strategy the past couple of years. I almost always used to go RB back to back with my first two picks.

I went WR/WR in several leagues this year.

But 186 points? What scoring settings are you using?

My best team (loaded in an 8 man league) was projected to get 170 and only got me 106.

Overall, it was a good week for all my teams though.

Pretty standard 25 passing yards per point. 5 bonus points when they reach 300 and 400 passing yards. 10 yards per point for rushing and receiving yards and 5 bonus points when they reach 100 and 200 yards. 6 points for all TDs. We do:
QB
WR
WR
RB
RB
TE
Flex
K
D

My top 4 just crushed it. I hope they continue it for the rest of the season, and it's not just a flash in the pan.

This is a great time to be a Bills fan. We have a very talented football team with a lot of youth that is primed for success. Assuming he is approved, Terry Pegula should be a very enthusiastic owner who loves this team like we fans do. The future certainly is very bright, and I can't wait to see all of our young players grow and develop. My lone concern is we seem to be onto something really good with Coach Marrone and his staff as well as our GM, Doug Whaley. I hope Mr. Pegula recognizes that we are headed in a very positive direction, and there is no need to clean house.

That's standard minus the bonus points. I've never been a fan of those.

Most I scored this week was 140...

QB - Nick Foles
WR - AJ Green
WR - Roddy White
WR - Michael Crabtree
RB - Matt Forte
RB - Le'Veon Bell
TE - Julius Thomas
DEF - Patriots
K - Shayne Graham

Agreed, I don't like bonus for arbitrary levels. So if your QB throws for 299, is it that big of a difference than 300?

I don't know how many of you follow ESPN's Power Rankings, but here are some interesting notes:

Biggest Jump: Vikings & Titans ↑9
Biggest Drop: Chiefs ↓9
New last ranked team: Rams
My favorite quote: "Just like everyone predicted, Knowshon Moreno is the NFL's leading rusher."
Runner up quote: "Antonio Brown picked up where he left off (mostly). Five catches, 116 yards and a touchdown seems routine for Brown. A judo kick to a punter's face was new, though."
