12 team league, and I had the 8th pick, took Johnson, and then got Thomas with the 17th pick. Not sure if I would recommend not drafting a running back until the 3rd round, as my running back corp is Zac Stacy, Shane Vereen, MJD, and Ben Tate. Hoping I can get Justin Forsett or Terrence West off waivers.

Society not taking domestic abuse seriously is why victims don't get the help they deserve. Janay Palmer Rice IS a victim, whether anyone sees it that way or not. Blaming her doesn't help anyone.

I have Calvin and Orange Julius in a 12 team league. Drafted Calvin with the 5th pick, took Antonio Brown in the 2nd round, OJ in the third, and Matty Ice in the 4th round. Talk about a good week

Does it matter when you score 186 points in a week

To answer your question, they are Gore, CJ2K, MJD, SJax, and Hyde.

Matt Bryant: 20 of 21 in game-tying or go-ahead FGs in last 2 minutes of 4th or overtime. Only time he missed, he kicked the game winner in OT.

He has a valid point though. She could have been a driving force to stand up against domestic violence. She could have refused to be treated as she was and used the media to bury him months ago and in doing so bring a lot of awareness to the publics attention regarding domestic violence. Instead she married that thug.

Buffalo Bills Sale Agreed to in Principal, Bills will be staying put for now.

Quote:

Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula have reached an agreement with the Bills to become the team's next owner.

It's a huge relief to the city of Buffalo, as it means the team is staying put. Per WGR 550's Joe Buscaglia, fans are calling into sportstalk radio with tears of joy. Pegula is a far better fit to take over for Ralph Wilson than other rumored bidders such as Donald Trump and Jon Bon Jovi.

Excellent choice, Buffalo is trending up as well, bungled pick to take EJ Manuel last year aside. Kyle Orton gets properly motivated and he could help take some of the sting out of that horrific draft pick.

Manuel looked pretty good Sunday and looks a whole lot better than a lot of players picked before him. I'm sure there's plenty of teams that would take Manuel over their current quarterback, and he should only get better as he gets more experience.

From listening to the morning Sports shows today, I have learned that:

1.Ray Rice lied when he said that his striking of his fiancé was in self-defense.

2. The NFL has lied with their statement that they did their "due diligence," in investigating the Ray Rice incident, in that the "NFL" did not/ would not/ could not get a copy of the elevator camera footage to view.

3. Ditto the Baltimore Ravens organization.

I think it's very cool that the Ravens are offering fans the option of exchanging their Ray Rice jerseys for a different one.

I think I'll run out right now and buy an EJ Manuel jersey! Oh wait I don't buy jerseys for players I think are bums, never mind.

Manuel may not have the stats Romo does, but he also doesn't have the contract Romo does, which is arguably the worst contract in the NFL due to all the regenerations the Cowboys have done which makes it virtually impossible for the Cowboys to cut or trade Romo until 2016, and even then they'd have to take a $20 million cap hit. With Romo's body breaking down that contract is going to be an albatross that prevents the Cowboys from becoming a playoff contender for the next couple years.

Jerry Jones is the albatross that keeps the Cowboys from being a play-off contender, the ridiculous contracts he gives out to players either past their prime or almost past their prime is just another aspect of his worst GM in football skills.

Oh I'm sorry we are comparing a player who is a game into their sophomore season to a veterans. You said pick him up in fantasy. Who had a better fantasy game last week?

I'm the last person to defend EJ ask MF. But you're over the top comments are just and

Just read the ESPN magazine article about Jerruh, tells you all you need to know. It talks about him: drinking a bottle of his favorite Johnny Walker Blue, dancing with Kate Bosworth, and then gushing about all the money he was making on the final George Strait concert. He'a a businessman through & though, not a football guy. Sure he'll throw a ton of money at any problem, but he doesn't know how to evaluate players....never could and never will.
So until he figures out that he is holding his own team back(he never will, as his ego is too big), the Cowboys are destined to be, at best, a middling team.
Sure they might hit a deep playoff run, under Jerruh's watch, but it's highly unlikely.
