49ers are really imploding. There are trade talks of shipping Kaep off to Philly. So looks like Gore will meet up with Kaep.

What is this? Like a fire sale out in San Fran? Everything must go?

Don't worry I'm sure somebody will get them.

I don't know what they are doing out there. But they need a swift punch upside the head. I don't know how they could think this is a good idea? but hey whatever.

Patrick Wilson and Narvaro Bowman will go aswell no doubt. I guess the new 49ers will be like The Little Giants. (If anyone remembers that movie. lol)

It's like someone bet them to see how bad they could make their team.

I mean who sabotages their own team on purpose? Just a few years ago they were one of the top teams predicted to go to the superbowl. And for 3 straight great seasons. 1 off season and it's everything must go!

Now they will barely win 6 games and not be in last place. Only kind of bowl they will get is a soup bowl. Jed York destroyed a once great team.

Honestly Kaepernick and Gore are not that good so if you can upgrade both positions and tool up the offense a bit you might contend again. NFC is quite stacked though so may take quite a bit to go from 8-8 to the play-offs even with a lot of upgrades.

A source tells Yahoo the 49ers are expecting ILB Patrick Willis to retire.

Earlier Monday morning, PFT's Mike Florio teased a bomb coming out of San Francisco. We now know what it is. Willis is only 30 years old, so we're guessing this early retirement has to do with the troublesome toe injury that ended his 2014 season after six games. It would be a sad end to a dominant career that saw Willis get named a first-team All-Pro five times in eight seasons. His retirement would net the 49ers $7.4M in cap space.

In Chip Kelly's book, if you aren't 6'5", you aren't a WR. This has been expected that they would let him go.

That information is not exactly correct. From what I read, the 49ers received some calls requesting information if Kaep would be available for trade, but the 49ers shut that down.

He isn't going anywhere unless somehow another QB is involved in the trade, coming to the 49ers. There is no way they start preseason work with only Blaine Gabbert on the squad.

Packer fan, my friend, but I have a lot of respect for Chip Kelly and what he is doing in Philly. I also have always liked that franchise as well, ever since I was a kid and Randall Cunningham was my hero.
