If anyone here has a reason to be sour grapes over New England, it's me! But I'm not. I've listened to all the evidence in both "gates" cases and think it's nonsense, the latter "gate" case especially.

As sports, and more precisely sports sciences, continue to evolve, the line between being competitive and cheating is becoming razor thin.

And as far as "tarnished" goes...let's leave that over in MLB. They dug their own grave and have to live with it.
New England is just a very well run organization top to bottom. Anyone that questions that either knows nothing about football or is a hater. That's how I see it.

NFL fans saying anything about steroids is hilarious. NFL has guys suspended for steroids and making Pro Bowls in the same season.

Not really sure why the Patriots are bothering with Davis. They've already got a crowded depth chart at tight end with Gronk, Michael Hoomanawanui, Tim Wright, Scott Chandler, and 6th-round-pick A.J. Derby, and most likely they'll only keep four tight ends at the most (last year they only had three for the Super Bowl), so Davis will have to look amazing to make the team. It may end up being a case where they have Davis in training camp and release him before the start of the season but have the ability to bring him back if nobody else picks him up and the Patriots have some injuries.
