Ian Rapoport said the browns only offered a second round pick probably from the Texans? But no first from the browns.

I assume with Hoyer now free he will rejoin the pats.

It is a little troubling to go from having the best backup QBs to having none.

Daniel Jeremiah said that he has been told Belichick doesn't want to help Cleveland out due to their history.

Not really. If Brady goes down with an injury they aren't competing for a championship. Doesn't matter who the backup is.

There is zero evidence to suggest he's worth one second round pick let alone a first plus other assets. The guy has 63 completions in his career on an offense that could make Mike Glennon look decent.

With the Browns only in contention with the 49ers for the title of worst owners in football, Belichick wouldn't be helping them out any. Rather, he'd be sentencing Garopollo to potential career suicide. He did trade Jamie Collins to them, after all.

This definitely affects Cousins' offseason prospects by one team.
