They have added free agents. And trades. Some, okay. Others like Bowe, Britt, not so much. Initially, I thought Pryor should have remained a Brown but look at what he's done in Washington with a better QB - oh that's right, NOTHING.

Cleveland's trade for Osweiler brought up their cash spending and they acquired 2 draft picks from it. They had so much cap room it didn't make a single dent.

You want a 'splash' then hire an experienced headcoach and protect the current QB. Make a 'splash' by getting some offensive weapons for him. Kizer can win games - so glad you're an NFL scout now by the 6 or whatever games he's played in. Let the guy develop.

Are we still on the Hate Goodell thing?
People...Goodell only does what his employers, all 32 owners, ask him to do.

Blaming Goodell like blaming your whole car because a headlight burned out. He’s the face/voice of the owners. If you’re going to blame anyone blame the owners.

Trying to apply any logic to anything Cleveland does is a waste of time. I can forgive teams for whiffing on a few draft picks or free agents, that happens. But to have done it for as long as Cleveland has done, is inexcusable. They are not even trying at this point.
Heck, they make my Sixers look good, which is a near impossible task.

Are you notre dame fan? Or is it because he is from Ohio cause Kizer has looked awful. The writing is on the wall even Hue doesn’t want him and keeps benching. They could have signed anyone Djax or Garçon I mean 16 million dollar dump was stupid.

Ohio State fan.

I do not care that he's from Ohio. I even said that Cleveland didn't need to draft a QB but its the bed they created. And you're going by Hue? He's a lackluster coach who doesn't know what he's doing. He's the very reason Cleveland had drafted Kessler.

Cleveland didn't trade for Osweiler to be a QB. The plan was to take care of the cash spending and acquire picks. They did both of those. Then they tried to trade Osweiler to get additional picks, which we all know they did not do. He wasn't really in the plans.

The funny and sad thing about Deshaun's Watson season so far is that 7 games (6 1/2 actually) into his career and he is already 8th in Texans history in passing yards and tied for 4th in touchdown passes.

No your incorrect as he clearly has shown not to be a yes man of the owners like you say he is and has regularly gone off on his own accord to hand down judgments which he has mainly gotten wrong every single time.

I know it's a long shot but I hope to hell his contract is terminated eventually as the league would be a better place without him imo.

This now means that Kirk Cousins will have one less landing spot in free agency. There will be plenty of interest. But SF is out.

Why would they trade Jimmy G when they haven't had a QB since Jeff Garcia?

Apparently no one was offering that even the browns only offered a 2nd round pick earlier in the year.

Think he means trading their 1st pick to a team that needs a QB.
