From a pure passing standpoint, Rodgers is as fluid as can be. But yes, Brady just gets it done and has the hardware to prove it.

I wonder how many rings Rodgers would have if he had the best coach in NFL history his whole career? We will never know, but worth pondering.

Ring counting is purely low hanging fruit when it comes to assessing one position. Using that logic, Eli is better than Brees, Aikman is the 4th best of all time, Dilfer is better than Marino or Fouts. There is way, WAY too much luck and outside influences in a handful of NFL playoff games to simply say one QB is better than another “because rings!”
I think looking at the careers of Peyton Manning and Rodgers are the perfect illustrations of that.

Yeah I suppose you could. At the same time, there are so few playoff games in a career that the good or bad run of luck may simply never regress to the mean before a player retires.

In my mind, Brady’s longevity and ability to play at a high level for this long is more impressive than the 5 titles.

Well, it sucks that Gordon hasn't be able pull himself together. He could have been a real threat for the Browns offense this year. It sad see a talented player be let go, but he just hasn't been able to keep himself together.

I guess this means that Cleveland will now try to get Dez, since they're cutting Gordon on Monday, to get some weapons for Tyrod now.

I doubt it. They already said that they will release him on Monday. I guess it depends on what why he was late and 'not himself' when he showed up at the facility today. If he is getting a suspension, I don't know which team would take a chance on him with that uncertainty. Perhaps Seattle, maybe.

The expectation from the insiders is that he will be traded.
