I’m a lifelong fan of this team and this is the worst defense I’ve ever seen. I hope they fire Ed Donatell after this season because his scheme sucks.

Yep, looked short to me, too, but it would've been 4th and a couple of inches, in which case, you'd have to TRY to not pick up the 1st down on 4th.

I wouldn't count out the Eagles, especaially since they get a week off to rest and have home field advantage. I would love to see the 49ers have to go to Philly for the NFC title game. SF fans would get brutalized by Philly fans before, during and after the game. Remember how they treated Viking fans in the NFC title game a few years back? Minnesota fans would use the Port O Johns while tailgating and Eagles fans would zip tie the doors shut so they couldn't get out

When the Super Bowl was in Minneapolis that year one of their fans actually stole one of the seats from US Bank Stadium. Not sure how they did it but they did. The idiot that stole it was caught trying to sneak it through the airport.

Cardinals vs Rangers World Series 2011. My good friend Brian was at game 7, he somehow ripped the back seat (part where your back rests on) off the seat he was sitting on at Busch Stadium, it now resides in his house. I've seen it with my own eyes.

Another weak roughing the passer penalty.
NFL is really going to have to look at this rule in the offseason. That's only maybe the eighth worst "roughing" call I've seen this year.
Coaches are going have to teach just to wrap up the QB and not take them to the ground it seems.

NFL needs to look at overall officiating. From the massive screw ups in Rams v Seahawks, to the penalties yesterday or lack there of, the NFL needs consistency and thats the damn problem. If 50% of officials dont call the same holding, Roughing, Intentional Grounding, Pass Interference, or Personal fouls the NFL has problems. If the refs on the field dont call it make the damn call from upstairs get the consistency then the fans and players will be happy.

Just look at how many screwed up penalties there were plus how many did the receiver have possession issues. They have been working on completing the process and possession ever since Calvin in Chicago if not before that how is it still an issue.

Told my co-worker earlier today that if any upsets were to occur, I predicted Dolphins or Giants. Happy to be right about one of them.

GO NEW YORK!!

Lol, good thing the fans don’t play and the game isn’t held in the parking lot. None of this will matter if these two teams do indeed meet in the NFC ‘ship game.

What's causing the issue is officials have to use their judgment to determine whether or not a questionable catch included the receiver making a football move.

Yes but send it upstairs for consistency, review double if you have to. Granted the calls today for possession were in line with the Dez call.
