I don't think so; I'd have to see what the people in the room were doing when he started talking. Ever given a speech in front of your friends about a serious topic yet you smirk a bit because of them. I'd wager to say it’s more about that.

But back on non-sensitive topics, Go 9ers and Pats

I don't really think of it as an offense vs defense for winning titles. I'm more with the theory: The best teams make the playoffs, but the hottest teams win them.

A lot of recent champs are teams that played well all season but lit up in the late goings, posting offensive or defensive numbers clearly better that those of the regular season.

very good sign for the SF...

a lot of money on NO last week....since they lost...they're going to double up against SF again.... that's when they bite you really hard... Las Vegas already seeing a lot of money on Giants to win it...they are predicting it will be pick-em during game time... Once again, no respect for the SF at home....

No one expect SF to be playing this Sunday, let alone winning yesterday. They have nothing to lose.... Even I have doubt about SF this Sunday against Giants...

Go SF Niners!

I'm really hoping for a Patriots/Giants Super Bowl rematch, but wouldn't mind seeing a Patriots/49ers matchup either. I'm rooting for New England from here on out. I love watching Brady play, and he seems more intense than usual this year. I hope he gets a fourth ring, it would be quite an accomplishment. I was only five years old when Montana won his fourth, and obviously not born when Bradshaw was playing. I want to see this amazing stat happen with my own eyes.

Yeah to me Brady is the best post season QB since Montana. I want to see Tom win again. I think Montana even likes Brady so that says a lot. I don't think Joe likes very many people at all. lol

As a Bills fan it's more about respecting Brady than liking him. As a Bills guy, he aggravates me so much. But as a person who loves this game, it's nothing but respect.

Dez Bryant was detained after a physical altercation in a Miami club, a source tells Ben Rogers of ESPN Radio in Dallas.
This report has not been confirmed and there are no details yet. But the reported incident would not be out of character for Bryant, who has had numerous maturity issues and brushes with the law dating back to his time at Oklahoma State. Commissioner Roger Goodell figures to be monitoring this situation closely.

I remember that season very well. I was like 13 years old during that season. And they had alot of stuff riding on it. Mainly beating the cowboys in the NFC championship (Cause they were beat the previous two seasons) and proving they can win without Montana. And for those thinking he was stupid for trading him away.

Young even makes mention of the fans not liking him for them trading away Joe cause he was their QB and had won 4 Superbowls and Young didn't have any. So he also had a lot to prove, like I think Smith has alot to prove aswell. Cause let's face it, he has big shows filling in for two Hall of Famer QB's.

Broncos VP of Football Operations John Elway said at the team's season-ending press conference Monday that Tim Tebow has "earned the right" to be Denver's starting quarterback entering 2012 training camp.
"As it stands right now, we've got two quarterbacks under contract," Elway said, referring to Tebow and 2011 undrafted rookie Adam Weber. "We have to be in the market to find more quarterbacks." Elway praised Tebow's work ethic, and said he plans to spend "considerable time" with Denver's QB group this offseason. The length of Tebow's 2012 leash may depend on the quality of backup the Broncos acquire. Weber projects as Denver's third-stringer next season.

I am so tired of the Tebow thing (not Tebow himself, just the media circus and Florida fans), but I hope he works out. He has the ability to look great (last week) and pathetic (this week). Maybe a guy like Elway can figure him out.
