I guess Alex Smith can forget about his trip to Seattle after Miami LOL...

Manning to Tennessee.
Tennessee cut Hasselback.
Hasselback to San Francisco.

I'll take Hasselback.

If the 49ers strike out with Manning, you need to take Smith. He did a great job last year managing the game. You don't want old man Hasselbeck.

They didn't cut him yet, but they will if they land Manning.

Smith doesn't want to play for 49ers...if he did...then he would have signed them already. It's in Smith court..but nope..he wants mo money... Forget that... Smith put himself in this situation as 49ers had to look for other option just in case Smith decide to walk away.

49ers just need an average QB and they'll be alright.

Hasselbeck could end up in Cleveland if Manning comes to Tennessee. He knows the offense and did well for Holmgren in Seattle. I can't imagine Cleveland is sold on Colt McCoy.

We are NOT sold on Colt, without question. "Browns Backers" up here are convinced he's not the guy, myself included. I don't question his heart but having to have a rollout pocket so he can see receivers CAN'T continue. We had a better record the year b4 Holmgren got here than we did last year. We have NOT progressed.

Haha.. I love the blank stare. Almost as if your questioning your reason for existence as a sports fan. Like "why oh why did I HAVE to be a Browns fan"? I feel the same way with the sports teams I root for. Orlando Magic (0 championships), Jacksonville Jaguars (0 championships), Atlanta Braves (1 championship). Sometimes after yet another horrible sports season ends for my team I sit in a dark room blankly staring at the walls and wonder why I put myself through the torture.

bye bye Smith...see what you can do in Miami with their defense. I guess $24 mil for another 3 years is not enough after taking $50 mil already.

Even if worse comes to worse I think it's good for San Francisco. Colin Kaepernick would do fine as their starter even if Peyton doesn't land there.

Trust me Chad, substitute a Leaf, Jays or Raps jersey and the same expression exists...but my loyalty will NEVER waiver. I Love these teams. Diehard 'til Death. True genuine loyalty is difficult to find among younger fans. NEVER give up on the Jags, Braves & Magic. Lad.

I'm cool with Colin.

SF offered him a $24 mil contract, but he rather play elsewhere for more money than stay in SF to see if he can make it to the Super Bowl next season. Oh well.

It's all good...his heart is about money instead of winning with his former teammates.

Colt is a real life hero too. He's a great guy but unfortunately he's just not a quality NFL starting QB.

Agreed. Love his Heart and toughness (he's been hit hard a lot), but he's become Brady Quinn #2 in Browntown. Both #1 picks and both failures. I miss this guy :
