I think the first season works just fine as a stand-alone show that didn't really need any follow-up.

mate, there is literally no point of any of this constant moaning

be content its getting a release somewhere, I've been in the blu-ray game since before day one with casino Royale and now own over 2000 titles, and many of those are stuck in certain regions,

the days of not being able to afford to go region free are over.

and more than that if you look back a couple of pages I actually offered to get you a copy shipped with mine, but you never replied

Girlfriend just told me they got 80 copies of the bluray in her store. Plenty to go around. Pics of the front and back...

I've been following, but I apparently missed it. Is it confirmed this is store-only?

I need to know how the discs themselves are housed. This has the potential to be poor packaging as far as keeping the discs safe so... we’ll see.

I'm probably going to buy it either way, but I do want to see what it looks like inside...

Weird it does not list english subtitles on the back. Really hope its on and the Blu-Ray’s looks like they are region free. There is no A logo on the backcover. The DVD’s are locked Region 1 with the logo shown here

I love the show, and I'm really liking this packaging. I just hope the interior lives up to the exterior. We need some Target employee to rip into it!!

You would think Target would be advertising the hell out of this thing by now. It's like they don't want anyone to know it even exists.

This looks nice stacked up and side by side of each other. So now I hope they will continue this VHS theme for future seasons and releases.

I think they can rely on the word o' mouth now. Some clever strategy!

It's going to be in the weekly ad across the whole country, no word of mouth needed.

Word of mouth + weekly ad = highly anticipated weekly ad = more $$$ than just weekly ad.

Has there been any indication at all that this will be available on Target's website on release day?

I would hope future seasons keep this style of packaging. And that they remain exclusive only to Target. Also, how many seasons you think there will be?

Nope. Fine print in ad - hard to read from photo - seems to also indicate no. Something re: "Quantities limited."

Heavy paraphrase of the latest info I read: The creators were considering 4 seasons in order to maintain the quality and end on a strong note, but then there was a reaction from Netflix about ending it so early, so then they said it could maybe be 5.

Ross Duffer clarified that the plan wasn’t set in stone. “Everything changes as we move forward so we’ll see,” he said. But Matt Duffer made it clear they wanted to go out on a high note. “I want it to have a really finite ending,” he said. “I don’t want it to be one of those shows that runs out of gas and they lose it because they’re losing interest. You wanna end when you’re on top.”

So 4-5 at most I'd wager.
