"Afterlife" only takes place 30+ years after you last saw Egon... a character you witnessed for maybe over the span of a few months in 1984 and a week in 1989.

There's gotta be outrage, then, that Egon likely had his kid BEFORE "Ghostbusters II"! Egon....

Let’s not forget that Egon never once met his daughter and she was born before the events of part 1. All of this was established in Afterlife. So yeah not a family man, but clearly he had an attachment to keep tabs on her in secret, and as said in part 2, sounded like college chicks really liked his…stuff. Maybe he wasn’t too far removed from Peter’s love of coeds as well? Hmm. If we get another one maybe this will all be explored further. Specifically who the mom was and how he got those pictures (assuming from the mom).

I'm going to cut this shit off right here and lay it down that I don't need prequels or any more context to Afterlife. Any more and you run the risk of having Skywalker-fatigue, which is why Mandalorian Season 1 was such a breath of fresh air and my reception to Season 2 is a little more restrained. Show me more of this world if there is story to support it.

blasted UPS, getting more and more worried someone at the local depot either lost or stole it. it's just been stuck at the local depot for a full week no, not a single new scan, even their updater system seems to have no clue about it anymore and of course they won't refund the actual replacement cost, the $300 bucks it will cost on ebay now I bet! Sony gets blame to, what on Earth were they thinking making htis as rare as hen's teeth? DId they learn nothing from the steel fiasco a few years ago for this?


now the UPS tracking simply says we have no information whatsoever about when it may arrive and they enabled the file claim button....

On Amazon, I'm at "Now Expected Today" but no new scans/updates since 7pm Feb 1st "Delayed in Transit".

It's noon here, usually something is "out for delivery" by now if I'm going to get it today.

Both my orders arrived today (one is going to a friend at cost). Targets was good. Box had a small crease in one flap, but not bad. All movie discs seem to be present, but the slipcovers have sizing lines on one side of them as if whoever printed them didn't turn them off before printing the file lol (I find this kind of amusing actually). Two of them are slightly dinged up, but nothing to complain about. All three movies are there, no duplicate discs. I'm going to have to check out the regular blu ray of Afterlife because it's got some tiny scuffs that a microfiber cloth couldn't remove. It'll probably be fine though, I've seen a lot worse play just fine. Box lights up and everything.

Amazon's came in a plastic bag, seems par for the course. Box is more banged up, but not bad enough I'd want a refund. We'll see when my buddy opens it if anything is duplicated or damaged.

I'm hoping that Amazon's use of clear plastic bags isn't leading to a thing where some people along the delivery chain are just taking 'em home to put on ebay and reporting them "lost".

So glad my set is being delivered today since I updated my payment from Amazon. Now let’s hope my set isn’t damaged and discs are all good for each film.

Can’t wait to see the preview cut and all those extras!

For those who missed out if this set is all the hype it’s meant to be I’ll gladly double dip for the 40th anniversary of they find more extras as in lost material for 1/2. Sure they kept some held back for fans to buy again.

Yeah, mine is in dreaded "Delayed in Transit" which leads me to believe it's not making its way here. It's "stuck" only a couple of towns away so trying to be hopeful but not looking good.
