I doubt you will see The Hobbit trilogy in HFR when it comes to UHD Blu-ray even if they were to modify it to 50p. There was quite a negative backlash about the look of the 48 fps version when it was released theatrically.

Given Sony I doubt it. I believe like Fox they are making Atmos mixes UHD exclusive (still I'll take that trade-off for the 4K/3D/standard blu combos they do)

I get that too, but they've been a tad wishy washy on which titles get Atmos (...and not) granted they are catalog titles, 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' and 'Labyrinth' had Atmos on the UHD and the standard bluray.

Given the HDMI confusion in the last few days, I think it's fair to point out that

4K60 @10 bit color requires the player to be set to 4:2:0 output.

HDMI 2.0a doesn't support 4:4:4 with that specs....
