Just found a piece of art by my favorite auto designer that I'd like to buy, but it's pricey. I'm not weighing whether it's worth it or not (it is!), I'm just figuring out the finances. Gotta move some green, 'cos I need some green.

After reading through the X-Files thread for the umpteen time, I couldn't take it anymore; couldn't stop thinking about the series. So, I just got back from Hastings with season 1 for $9.99. I get to start this series all over again. Sweet.

I just finished watching Gravity. Maybe some peeps will recall me posting a while back about a co-worker who had watched a torrent, wrecking the ending for me. I was still able to enjoy this awesome movie in a HUGE way!
What's on my mind is...how can people watch a movie like this via torrent? The picture was excellent and the audio was insanely good! Watching this movie on 15" screen and hearing crappy tiny audio just wouldn't do anything for me and would probably be too distracting to get caught up in the magic of the movie itself. I have two friends that do that and they both have killer systems.
I'll never understand watching great movies like this one with less than great audio/video.
To each their own but...

Was just looking over the guest list for the next Chiller Theatre.... and feeling pretty dumb & ashamed for ever getting suckered into paying good cash just for some lame autographs. I wish they'd get back to their resin garage-kit roots and give up all the lame stuff.
