Thank you! I had the best grandmother and great grandmother (My Mom's Mom and Grandmother ) anybody could ask for. And though this grandmother ( My Dad's mother) I did not know very well I still loved her and I will miss her very much.

I wish I had some ice cream to eat since it is so hot tonight.

I'll go to Safeway tomorrow after work and buy some that is on sale.

its currently 69 degrees in Memphis right now and I would still eat ice cream in this weather

On another note. How useless must i be if a grocery store won't give me the tome of day. I thought things were going good. I had the interview, I called them back a few days. They were jerking around me around. But they talked to me. I called them up again and wouldn't really even speak to me. Am I not bad no one wants to hire me for a stinking grocery store either stocking shelves or pushing carts? or hell even cleaning the floor.

Don't give up MBF. If they haven't said no to hiring you, then keep at it. If you really want this job, keep pushing until they give you an answer. Good luck, I'm rootin' for you.

I am so sincerely happy it's Friday and I've almost finished work. It's not that I have a bad job or anything - the pay isn't much above minimum and there are no bonuses, but I get to look at books and DVDs all day and my colleagues are nice - but the 9 to 5 office drudgery is starting to mess with my mind. The idea of doing the same tasks every month day in day out for more than another year, answering to "the man"...what if this is it?

I'm puzzled as to way the Amazon email and Amazon website has two entirely different estimated delivery dates

On the email it says "Oct 1 - Oct 6" but on the website it says "Sept 26 - Sept 29"

Last night we took my stepson and his girl out to The Keg and had a nice dinner together. The food and service were perfect (I tipped accordingly). Then we hooked up with my daughter, sister and their men for some wobbly pops here at my daughters place.
Our visit is going really nice and I am very happy!

Ever since I recently gave my approval, my wife has been on a mission to find a puppy for our dog. It's been tough finding another Labrador, but some mixed puppies have rescued and are at the SPCA. I wanted a dog that will love swimming as much as Izzy does, but the thought of rescuing and giving a home to a dog is very appealing.
I don't have a lot of time to think on this and it's a big decision that I don't wanna mess up.
