I will be 48 years old at the end of the month and I guess old age has finally caught up with me. I filled out all of my Christmas cards and was going to mail them when I went to get some lunch. Yep, I left them at home.

I still have to wear a mask at work. At a time when 95% of the population has dumped them, I feel kinda silly walking around with a mask on my face.

Anything from Chaplin comes to mind. Gold Rush & The Great Dictator being my favorites. You can stream Dictator on HBO.

I do, I don't receive many in return and my mailing list has shrunk dramatically since I first started mailing Christmas cards but it doesn't matter. Same goes for birthday cards, I still send those out when I remember to. For some people I've heard its a real highlight to their life, most people (myself especially) only receive junk mail and bills these days. Speaking of which I've been slacking and havent' mailed any cards out yet this year, I haven't received any either but then again very few people have my current address.

I don't send out as many Christmas cards as I used to, but I still send some out to friends in the States. It's very likely been said before, but these days the postage costs more than the card itself.

On a separate note, the temperature/weather here is going to get gradually colder as the week goes on (one or two days, the last time I checked the weather forecast earlier today, will barely be above freezing). Most days I check the weather in Chicago and New York City (with the former, it's to get an idea of what to look forward to with on-location filmed scenes in some TV shows which are among my favourites. With the latter, it's comparing to how the on-location scenes in older TV shows looked compared to now (my favourite part of the season are episodes filmed during winter).

You know its the complete opposite with me. I work at a grocery store. I don't wear a mask. But seems 9 out of 10 people who shop there wear masks. makes me feel llike the A-hole not wearing one.

Wendy’s has some sort of new sandwich which I’m guessing is meant to compete with the BK one. It’s a mozzarella chicken filet with marinara. I have not tried it yet though.

All this food talk and I have no idea what to do for dinner this evening.
