Why are the music threads so desolate right now?
Friday nights use to be pretty cool there. A few brews, crankin the tunes and sharing was fun.

I want a sled.
A week and a half ago when I was on my last day of work, I saw a small herd of caribou. A co-worker later told me he saw a much larger herd across the lake. I need a sled to go hunting caribou and now I am constantly looking on ski-doo's website.
It won't happen this year, but I gotta plan to have the funds next winter, cause those sleds are not cheap.
It's been too long and I need to hunt.

There was a terrible accident on the main highway into Yellowknife. Two Tractor-trailers had a head-on collision and two people died, with another in hospital. One semi was loaded with explosives and coming from south, The other was an empty fuel truck heading south to get a load. The highway opened today after being closed since Tuesday. The mine I work at hasn't had much Ice Road traffic, but I don't know about the other two diamond mines. They get their fuel in Yellowknife, so they probably kept that up, just no freight or fuel from south.
I've heard a rumour about how it happened, but it is just a rumour and I don't want to say anything that may be untrue. The RCMP aren't releasing much info yet. The link is below, but there isn't much there.
