I don't get that either. I never had an issue buying in that circumstance, but I don't like it to be perceived as new. It's used, but in excellent condition.

You must have a newer account. They do the 21 day hold dance to any new seller now apparently.

When I was new (recently) they said they were going to do a 21 day hold on my funds, but it really was released as soon as people left feedback or something similar. I only had to wait about a week.

I've had a eBay account on there since 2005. This was just my first time selling something. As I used to always buy. A seller on here wanted to do business through eBay cause they didn't have an active account, and wanted to be protected by their policies. I clicked on something and it said their was a few options to speed up the process. Either say that it's been shipped, print out a label, or put in a tracking number. So are they suggesting that I need to mail something out first before I get the funds? Kinda hard to sending something out when I need that money from the sale to ship them out.

I don't understand though, if the person paid me, which do I have to wait? They got their fee, now gimme my money!

The person didn't leave me feedback yet, but I did for them.

I don't want to bash ebay but I am not ebay friendly. I never sell so I can't really complain about that. I Maybe have less than 30 purchases over the last 10 years on ebay. I only buy when I am at my weakest. Sometimes I just give in and say screw it I will pay the price. I bought a few steelbooks about a year ago and ebay held the money for 72 hours for some reason. At least thats what the seller was telling me. Good luck and I hope you get your $$$ soon.

It was last Wednesday the person paid me. So it's been over 72 hours. I looked on their thing and it said the expected date at the latest would be June 5th, 2013. If anyone got their way, why am i waiting than?

I'm wondering what happened to the DVD trade thread. It seems to have just disappeared.

How much was the sell for? Maybe the amount flagged it.

I dunno who you are dealing with but they didn't need ebay for anything. Sending a Paypal invoice for goods is just as safe as ebays buyer protection. I don't know you from Adam and I did it that way.

None of it was for sell. I only bought. But again I haven't really used the eBay account in over 5 years. But i had a feedback score of 70.

I don't know what's going on with that person. As I said i've never sold on eBay so i didn't know it would take this long. But I looked at the ways to speed up the process of getting my money and it said to either print out a shipping label, manually enter a tracking number or say it's been shipped. I said it was shipped out today. And the release date of the funds moved from June 5th 2013 to May 26, 2013. So maybe if i print out a label it will move up the date for the funds availability even sooner. I know I'm never doing this again. Even someone who sent me a money order went better.

The "vent your anger" thread has gotten depressing. I think I'll stay outta there for a while.

obviously it's going to be depressing...it's called "vent your anger" thread! i hate it when people think their lives are so perfect that those who are voicing out their frustrations in life are automatically losers in their eyes. let's not forget that just because one is on top of the world right now doesn't mean that they'll be there forever. it's a cycle of life and the ones experiencing nothing but happiness right now could be the ones experiencing hardships later on.

Trying to decide whether or not to pick up The Dark Knight Trilogy. Only seen a small amount of TDK.
