If you don't drink, but you want to chat and listen to some music go to the bar.

I personally don't frequent bars but that's because I don't like being in close proximity with drunks.

That's the thing I have no one to chat with. The friend i said would most likely be working. So I would kinda feel weird and or uncomfortable down there.

Same reason I don't go much either. They have 4 different bars within a miles. Sure two of them are private members bars, while the other two are bars/eateries. The one is in a hotel lounge and has apartments up above. And the other is a sports bar type place. I've been in there a few times.

I actually walked down there and was standing infront of the door, but for some weird strange reason I couldn't force myself to go it. Like I said, I would just feel really awkward about it. But again that's how I am in alot of public places like that.

Already worried about the math class I have to take. It starts on the 29th and math terrifies me. It is Intro. to Algebra.

don't go if it makes you uncomfortable. if i were you, go to a public library instead and take advantage of the free services they're offering there. bring the resume i created for you and have someone at the library review it and give you feedback about it. there are also a lot of services being offered there that will help you look for a job and help you improve some of your skills and even your personality. there's often classes offered as well on how to answer questions on job interviews. you might even find someone who's teaching another language. just ask for all the programs and services available to you and take advantage of the library because it is truly a great resource.

i hate math! my life would have been a lot better if i were good in math. i'm supposed to be teaching already if not because i keep on failing the math section of the test. the worse thing is that i missed just a point the last time i took the damn test.

in college, i did great in math though because i was lucky enough to have great teachers. these days, i'm not afraid to say that i am STUPID when it comes to that subject.

oh, and btw, we betta get an invitation from you very soon, LOL!

I didn't go in there. I decided to go home. And my local library doesn't offer any type of classes. It's a really small place. It has a downstairs area with some shelves of books and upstairs they have a small section of DVDs and VHS.

Plus they have 3 computers, but i don't need those cause I have one already. But like I said plenty of places for Beer and Pizza. 4 bars and 3 pizza places in the area with also a Chinese food take out aswell. Not to mention two ice cream places on the same street. At the top and bottom.

I'm wondering if I should buy the Star Trek:The Original Trilogy set and the Voyage/Undiscovered separate or buy them all in individual releases...

I would buy them individually, I did and it is better IMO.

MBF: ask a library personnel if they have any mentoring programs available or any public assistance program. you'll be surprised to know how many programs are usually available that are unannouced. there are even programs offered that will allow you to get certificates which you'll be able to add to your resume.

if you know someone from the bar you wanted to go to, why don't you ask that friend of yours to recommend you to his boss. buy a suit so that you're always prepared for an interview. these days, you can buy a suit for $40 at a TJ Maxx or Ross.

They actually said they would get a job where he works. But it's kinda slow lately where he's at. and actually hasn't been paid in almost 4 weeks since business has been so slow. But when business should happen to pick up in the coming weeks he'll let me know. He's actually one of the managers there. He even actually offered to let me borrow some money when he gets back on his feet a bit more. I was on FB one day and he PM'ed me. Hadn't spoken to him since HS days and that was like 10 year or more ago. I told him the story of what I wanted to do and seemed into it and encouraged me. And said he help me out anyway when he could get the chance.

Yeah, I'm thinking that's what I'm going to do. It would probably look better on a shelf that way. I have the first run DVD set from years ago and I've recently got Star Trek fever again so I want them in better quality to watch in my home theater.
