she has not killed her self ... just tried (should i say again) ... now she is hospitalized. at least a week.

I would never joke about things like these. my cousin (who was very very close to me) indeed killed himself. couple of days after he completed (wrong word maybe) university. he felt he had gotten everything life had to offer ... so freaking sad.

I may be many sad/bad things but not a liar ... and i'm not here to get pity ... just being honest (more so maybe than i should as this is a BR forum)

I'm so excited ... maybe for nothing.

I got notice I will be getting a unexpected xmass gift and there's one clue that points to what it could be... of course,... I could be WAY OFF because it's only a clue and I have no idea what it is.....

But,... there's one clue that points to something off the chain awesome.

Anyways,... I didn't expect any gift this xmas...nothing. My wife and I spend all we had for the kids... she's hard to shop for and I get myself too much already.... I just wan't expecting anything.... now I am and I have almost no idea what it is and that's soooo exciting!!!!!

I don't mind the gift-giving part of Christmas but I do hate it when people buy me stuff I didn't specifically ask for. My tastes are a little too niche for someone to just go out and buy me something. I know, I know, it's the thought that counts, but I would rather they not get me a gift than spend money on something I don't need or want.

Ok,... But it's an astonomical stretch of wishful thinking on my part.

A) this person has never given a "gift" without discussing it with me first to be sure its "ok". We usually negotiate... Sounds awkward but honestly this is a relative I didn't know while growing up.

B) just out of boredom I visited my amazon wish list today,.. I've neglected it for years. I deleted everything and added a single item...

C) two hours later I get an email saying I should expect a box from amazon.

Its a big stretch,... I'd be more libel to believe in life on other planets but it was a strange coincidence.

I wish I could put the whole notion out of my head..... Common Tuesday.... I am so excited......

I'll be grateful for anything actually,.... It's also fun to just now know because I wasn't expecting any gifts.

I wasn't expecting anything before. My wife and I decided to just get stuff for the kids and agreed to not get each other anything other than little stuff.



Its fun that something is coming though.... And it could be great.


Anyways,... Jus sharing what's on my mind....would love to be thinking about something else actually.... I better find a distraction.

Edit - too bad comcast recently killed off my clearQAM or I could get into some nfl.

I get that spouses want to get each other nice stuff but Christmas has never been that personal to me so I could understand if they just got other people stuff and not for each other in that instance.

I believe it, 3 of my siblings can be very hard to get along with and both of my parents can be quite annoying. Nothing says holidays like extra time with the family that results in anger and resentment.

More like nothing says Holidays than seeing certain people who you only see twice a year, and otherwise you wouldn't see them ever if you weren't related.

Or atleast that's how my one side of the family is.

Yeah I love how people say you have to like members of your family. No you don't and if I consider someone in my family not being worthy of my respect or affection, they don't get it.

The one side of the family I'm talking about is kinda snobbish. They live and work on a farm. So they have this kinda attitude like they are better than others. Especially around holidays and birthdays when we were younger.

I know some people that are very "good". They seem like puritanical (is that the word...) They just seem emperically "good".

They don't condescend ... or I haven't seen them... But they do seem better than most anyone I know.

Glad my goddaughter and her brother are visiting and I look forward to visiting with their parents tomorrow as well. Time to find out what my pillows and my blanket smell like tonight, though.
