Nice! How much you pay for that?

I guess that must be a good brand, cause I see so many buying it.

I like it, but it's less a "good brand" and more an economy brand. They make solid TVs for cheap prices. You get a lot of features without the overhead, so they're big sellers in WalMarts and Costcos.

I got mine for $1300 from a local store (Nebraska Furniture Mart), which is about $400 off its standard price. Wish I could have gotten in on the $1000 70" (non-3D though) Vizio at Black Friday, though I did make that a very nice Christmas gift for my parents to thank them for all the years of raising me and helping me out.

I know a few people with a vizio. My first blu ray player was a vizio. For whatever reasons it would make these weird noises when a disc was in it. Like you could hear the spinning really loudly. So I just took that back and bought a different one instead with the money I got back.

I have a 34" Emmerson. Got it at Walmart a few years ago for about $300. It's my first HD TV and seems to be working good so far. You know what the life of a HD TV is before you gotta buy another one?

HDTV's can last a while. It will probably be at least 10 years before I replace this one (assuming it's not stolen or somehow broken).

I only got this one to replace my 46" because my room is too big for such a "small" TV. I then moved that to my bedroom, where it's excessive... but I already had a 42" in there. [TVs look way smaller in show rooms, and then you get home and are like "holy crap"]. So now the guest bedroom has a 42" (replacing the cheap like 22" that was in there).

Thinking about it, I've had mine for 7 years now, no problems at all with it.

What's stopping you? You don't want a 100" screen TV? Or better yet a movie theater sized screen?

That's good to hear then.

I know when you're used to looking at a big TV, and then you see a small TV. You're just thinking man that TV sure is small.

Cause my dad has small TV down in the living room and i think that everytime that I see it.

Hoping for another snow day tomorrow. It would be my second in a three day span.

I'm curious - why does someone say they need help because they need money in their personal sell thread, but they have all the new releases...and consistently update their list with new releases? Feel free to delete if this is inappropriate (I don't know what thread to put it in), but unless you're stealing the new releases, how about using that money to get yourself out of debt/pay your bills/whatever your ailment or affliction might be?

I know it's none of my business how someone lives their life, but I kind of feel like it's swindling us a little bit.

I lived in KC for 6 years without needing a shovel. And then last year, we got 12" twice in a week (fortunately with time for Amazon to deliver a shovel after the first and before the second). And now we got another 12" yesterday. And shoveling SUCKS!
