i was talking with my neighbor about this very thing a couple days ago.

people always seem to ask, "how did we ever get anything done without all these computers and phones and tablets and the internet?"

i always answer, "it's called work."

but yeah, i feel ya on that one.

My cross-shifts will be setting off a pretty sizeable blast in a few minutes. If any of them gets a decent video, I'll post it here. That won't be until I get home in a week and a half though. The internet is way too slow to do that from here.

I've made over $1200 in the last two days via vintage toy/model kit sales. And that was just selling to other dealers during setup. The dang show doesn't even open to the public until tomorrow at 9:00 a.m, !!!

I have to get up at six, so....g'night, y'all.

My crew and I just watched a movie from a projector in the meeting office. I've been bugging the wife for a lil while about getting one and feel I'm pretty close to the go-ahead. After watching the big image, I want it even more now.

When I bought my first PJ & got it all hooked up & watched the first movie ~ That was it & I was hooked Now I have an image that is 8 feet wide & 4 feet tall that looks just as good as my $4,000 LCD & I paid $2,000 for this PJ You will not regret it

Awesome!
The screen we were watching last night was 6' and a pretty decent sized image.
When I was home a while back, I measured the wall to see what size screen we could get. I measured 87 inches. That means I can get a 84" length, which is 92" diagonal. That sounds small, but we'll be sitting 9 feet away so it's gonna be like going to the Imax theatre! Lol!
Yes crazyBlue, regret won't be in my future, just awesomeness!

*edit
I just checked out your gallery (again). In-fricken-sane! Not difficult to see why I gave 10/10

The excavator that came up on the winter road was finally pieced together and is being commissioned today. This machine is massive and is gonna move TONS of material which now puts the pressure on us to get it that material.

Check out how small the fuel truck looks next to it.

I bought a B-Stock HW30ES from here...

http://shop.avscience.com/B-Stock-Closeouts_c_31.html

It came looking brand new with no hours on the bulb or the operation timer and no sticker indicating refurbished (sony does put stickers on refurbished projectors.)

Hell of a deal. I sold my older Sony pj on Ebay for nearly $700 to help fund it.

This B-Stock sale has been going on for a while and I couldn't be happier or more impressed with my HW30ES... it's amazing and cheap too.

I second what crazy said! You'll be in absolute amazement at how great an image can be coming from a projector. A lot of people think oh, a projector...No way can it produce an image close if not better than a expensive hdtv. Technology has come a long way and these projectors nowadays are light cannons with awesome color performances, ambient light and even are 3D capable. I love the cinema feeling that you can get from the comfort of your own home. If you're indeed looking to pick one up, I bought this one which is very affordable and extremely portable. Grreat specs as well. http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-W1070-1080P-Theater-Projector/dp/B00A2T6X0K

Catering a pretty big event tomorrow evening at a ranch. 100+ people, but should go really smoothly! High profile officials are supposed to be attending. A 16hr work day is upon me!
