I saw on FB this a.m. that a guy who I've known since I was a young child has passed away. I don't know how or anything and I hope his family will be okay.
He was only a year or two older than me and it kinda makes me think. Am I of the age when my own mortality is something to consider? My lifestyle is not completely unhealthy, but there's room for improvement. This may be something I should address.

I'm sorry to read that. Yeah, death of people we know always makes us consider our own mortality, regardless of what age you are. I think the important thing is to do EXACTLY what you want to do and enjoy it. Having a healthy lifestyle is good, but only if allows you to do the things you enjoy the most.

I'm not sure how old you are but people are living longer and longer as the decades go by, especially women. A lot of women are living well into their 90's.

The territory I live in is burning up. Over 70% of it is in "extreme condition".
You can't even see the name of my town, it's covered up by fire icons:

No wonder there's so much smoke here! Whenever the wind is southerly, the sun is very red, if you can see it all.

Lost twenty ****ing quid today. Affected my performance in muay thai, too.

predicted ger-fre game right. did not affect my performance in krav maga.

well i'm trying to figure out after a call from sony if i should try to hold off next firmware update on my sony 3200 that might come about sometime oct-dec and see if might fixed problem why i cannot auto resume back certain older fox bluray titles

i can resume fine star wars movies but if i play say any of the alien movies yes is highlighted and press play or center remote control it should resumes instead jumps to menu

tired unstoppable bluray electronic express hook up 3200 yesterday old firmware didn't work updated firmware via network same thing makes me mad i just bought player walmart last month on 14th

if i choose to wait firmware still screwed up i'm not calling sony getting same dumb bluray player again so i either have to get one from last year because i know unstoppable does resumes almost all players in house even on bdem57c a samsung c5900 and a lg player elctronic expres even one from sony last year bx110

bad part walmart only have 2014 bluray players now i did see 5100 last month i'm not taking a chance to get a 3d player if i wanted to 2014 model

so i'm stuck i want to support sony have their bluray player 2nd one btw had samsung bdem57c 2 years ago it was screwing up last few months so i gave into sony

i'm asking any of you blu ray player expects what i should do keep it wait next firmware see works or find a sony player from last year or go to a different product i don't like samsung f5700 it looks dumb perhaps lg bluray player i don't know

I know very little about krav maga other than it's supposedly used to train the Israeli army. I've also seen a few videos here and there and, i'm sorry, but it comes off more as a overhyped self defense programme. It's all well and good to teach people about how to counter knife and gun attacks, but it's all theory, isn't it?

Muay Thai isn't theory. I do it for competition and fitness really, but it's also a handy in self defence, though i've been fortunate enough to not have to use it on the street. I'd rather just avoid dodgy situations anyway, which is quite easy to do. Plus Muay Thai wouldn't mean squat to me if i've got a geezer pointin his gun at my head.

Perhaps i'm wrong, maybe Krav Maga is the real deal, I dunno. I can only go by what i've witness and so far, i'm unimpressed.

being nervous about tomorrow carpet ripping out putting in hardwood floor taking all my dvd's and bluray's out for a day or 2 then putting them back abc order also room being painted thus no computer time for a good portion of the day
